Excellent place to find furniture, antiques, jewelry and lots of other STUFF. Give yourself at least a couple hours, especially if you be in a buying mood. Phil or Vicky will gladly help you find whatever you be searching for. Two levels of rooms (building was built as a large hotel), some being 'Item specific' as in the Christmas room. One of our favorite places to visit when in
the Stoughton area. Both Phil and Vicky are wonderful and interesting people to talk with. And Baxter also ..... Oh, plenty of older artwork, some originals, for one's bare walls.

We popped in out of curiosity after eating a great meal at LAZ and ended up buying a variety of "treasures" and some basic good stuff. The owners were friendly and offered 30% off to all customers that day. The store is large and packed full of books, records, furniture, pictures, paintings, jewellery, kitchenwares, tools, old toys, etc. We did not have enough time to look through all of the records and books because they are not organised in any way. Who knows what we might have found?

If garage sales aren't your thing, yet you enjoy digging for the unique, this little haunted, yes, ask the owner shop on Main St in historic Stoughton will fill the bill. I visit several times per year and always find something I haven't seen before.
Even more fun, I almost always run into true characters with lively conversations going up front while I search for treasure.
Don't worry about the ghost. It's friendly, even known to play with toys. Seriously, ask when you visit.

Since when was hitting a second hand store a high point of a family vacation? Elsings was a big hit with my teen grandchildren as we looked through collections of objects ranging from a large basket of crochet yarn and thread to a whole wall of tools to a corner full of shoes to toys, books, households, knick-knacks, mid-century, vintage, antiques and more. For those with enough persistence to keep looking, there are even Norwegian and Stoughton related items to be found all at prices that will have you smiling. Baxter the dog and the owner will make your visit warm and enjoyable and the framed newspaper clipping about the store being haunted will make you do a double take.
