My wife and I visit Regal in the Windward Mall about once per week. We like the theaters and especially the reserved recliner seating, as well as the aforementioned Banana Icees which are definitely the superior Icee flavor on this planet. The front office / ticket staff tend to be a little apathetic and occasionally openly rude, but since buying tickets is only about 2% of the going to the movies experience we tend to let that slide.

I have been coming here for over a decade. Always friendly and fast service. Use your Regal Rewards card to earn free popcorn and drinks.

Recently went to see "It" and "Foreigner" the past couple of weekends. We haven't been to this complex for some time now but had gone to the newer Regal Kapolei Commons complex where they have reserved, reclining lounge seating. We often wished the Windward Regal complex had lounge seating because it's way closer to home. A couple of months ago, we noticed a large area of the parking lot had been fenced off with a lot of shipping containers parked inside & wondered what was going on at the mall. When we finally went to see a movie, we realized it was because they were replacing the stadium seating with reclining lounge seating. When we went to see "It" half the studios were closed. We found that seating in the theater showing "It" had been converted to reclining lounge seating. They must have been renovating the other theaters as the next weekend when we went back to see "Foreigner", the containers in the parking lot were no longer there.
My wife & I love the reclining lounge seating. Being able to reserve your seats is also great as you can choose exactly where you want to sit in the theater. What's also great is you can buy your tickets & reserve your seats in advance online through Fandango for a small fee. You can pickup the tickets at the complex or have it sent to your smart phone.
We agree that the concession prices are a bit high. But when we do indulge in refreshments, we enjoy the popcorn as it's usually freshly popped - light & crispy & get the mochi crunch to add to it. We also like to get Coke Icees. About half the time, we only go to see the movie so when we do buy refreshments, it's a treat.
During normal mall hours, you can enter & exit through the mall. After hours they have a separate corridor to the parking lot on the side of the mall facing the mountains.

An average theater. Okay seating. Expensive popcorn and drinks. McDonald's soda is $1. Here it runs $6.75. UP SIDE-THERE is never a crowd and seats are plentifu.l

This is a movie theater complex. This movie theater complex is much like every other movie theater complex everywhere: it is an expensive restaurant that shows movies. One large bag of popcorn (refillable) costs over $ 8.00. It weighs about 8 oz. That makes it about $16.00/ lb. in the same ballpark as prime porterhouse steak.

Always enjoy this theater. Clean and efficient with really nice employees. Great movie by the way. Located above the Sports Authority next to Payless shoes. Loved Jungle Book by the way. Really well done.

We decided to catch a movie at this location while visiting the area. We are Regal Rewards members and this is one of the best locations we have visited. The staff were all very friendly, courteous, and professional. The concession items were very good overall (my wife said the popcorn was amongst the best she has ever had at a movie theater), and the restrooms and theaters were clean and well maintained. There is also free parking and it is at a shopping mall so there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities in the area. I would highly recommend this location for a place to catch a movie and enjoy yourself.
