‪Neat tour of not one, but two Presidents' graves (John and John Quincy Adams)! The $5 donation was worth the hour-long docent-lead tour. It was informative about the church itself as well as the Adams family.‬

‪The Church was very family and traveler friendly. Lots of American history front and center, but most of all peaceful and conducive to prayer.‬

‪While the Adams houses are disappointing, the church in which John, Abigail, John Quincy and his wife are interred is fascinating. The church staff provides excellent explanations of the building and its history. Well worth spending time!‬

‪It takes almost no time or effort to add this to your Adams Family history tour. First Parish is not a tourist desitnation. It's a small active Unitarian congregation and the resting place of two of that denomination's most revered sons. They receive no public support, unlike many other presidential sites. So, please, show more respect for the efforts of this public-spirited congregation and don't complain about the small donation they request to help defray the cost of hosting visitors. After all, the National Cathedral charges for both tours and parking. And they only host one presidential interment with a far larger congregation. And, you'll learn more about American religious history in the company of the First Parish docents than you will at Westernmost Abby.‬

‪Was a unplanned stop but glad we did. Very informative tour with glimpse back into history. Tour guide was full of information about the church and past presidents.‬

‪As we travel, my wife and I seek out our Presidents' final resting places; most are unique in some way, and both John and his son Quincy are no exception. As we entered the church, a well briefed docent took us and another family up to the front of the church were we were seated in pews as he began his narrative on the fascinating church's history. It was most interesting; as an example worshipers had to buy a pew and then pay annual taxes on it. The Adams pew #54 was purchased by Quincy in 1828, two years after the passing of his father. The docent then took us downstairs where we actually entered the crypt through the wrought iron doors, and could actually touch all four tombs, of which the Presidents' were flag draped. Quincy arranged in 1828 for his mother & father to be transferred from the family grave in Hancock cemetery, located across from the church, to the church's basement crypt. It wasn't until 1852 that son Charles had his parents also moved to the crypt. This is definitely a stop to be be made while touring the area. Be sure to also see the original Adams burial place in Hancock cemetery.‬

‪The Church of Presidents welcomed our party of three on arrival. The church asks a minimal donation of $5 for adults, gratefully accepted at the door. A knowledgeable and friendly guide offered a detailed history of the congregation, church building, and connections to the Adams family. A final stop allows visitors to pay their respects to John, Abigail, John Quincy, and Louisa Adams in the crypt beneath the church.‬

‪After or before you visit the Adams National Park you want to walk across the street to visit this, Church. John and Abigail Adams and John Quincy and Louisa Adams are buried in the crypt. Originally the crypt was not opened to the public but now it is.

They have a guided tour where the guide tells a little bit about the history of the church and shows you the Adams family pew before taking you down into the crypt.‬

‪A great visit to the resting place of two U.S presidents and two First Ladies. I visited the church and attended a guided tour of the site that talked about the physical structure of the church, and was followed by a tour of the crypt where John Adams is buried. It was a fun experience right off of the Quincy Center train stop on the MBTA. If you’re in Boston and looking for something off the beaten path to visit, definitely stop by!‬

‪An awesome tour of the church given by members of the church. The only Adams site open as the NPS is still locked down due to Covid and this is one you don't want to miss. The gentleman knew the facts and stories and you can sit in the Presidential Pew where John Q Adams once sat. There is an elevator ride to the basement to view the graves of 2nd President John Adams and his son 6th President John Quincy Adams and their wives. This is a very unique Presidential gravesite as we were able to touch the grave tablets and walk around them as we were told the history, no fences, ropes, or guards to keep you back. The guide also allowed us to take a flower from John Quincy Adams Birthday wreath sent by President Biden. This tour is done with a suggested donation of $5.‬
