Gorgeous venue. Was so happy to score a ticket to see Jerry Seinfeld and he was fabulous! The only issue is that bathrooms are only on lower level or balcony, but I managed. Concession lines were typically long. Seats were comfortable and sight lines from the Loge level are good. Sound could have been better -- maybe it was the Loge overhang that makes it a bit harder to hear on that level. Overall, I give this experience an "A".

Beautiful venue, great seats and sound. More importantly, ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC STAFF AND GUEST SERVICES.

This is such a nice theater and the sound system is great. I've been to 2 shows here - one in orchestra and one in balcony - view from the balcony is pretty good and the seats are roomier than orchestra seats.

My husband and I recently visited the theatre for Jerry Seinfeld's 100th show. My husband uses a walker and our tickets were in the balcony. This place doesn't have an elevator in the year 2023! Are you kidding me! We were then offered to sit on folding chairs down below. (I'm sure we would have been shoved in a corner somewhere). We refused and my husband climbed the stairs to our seats. This place should really advertise that they are not ADA compliant at all! Seinfeld was great, but being offered folding chairs when we paid for tickets is unconscionable! You need to advertise that handicapped patrons are not welcome!

Saw Seinfeld’s 100th show at the Beacon. We are from Houston so seeing this wonderful Art Deco theater was fun!
You can purchase snacks and drinks in the lobby, then take them inside. Seats are pretty comfortable and leg room is good.
Seinfeld was pretty great too. Only quibble, bathrooms are pretty limited so beware!

Went to see Jerry Seinfeld here, fantastic show, really funny and a great night out. The theatre is very ornate with great views from most seats. Staff very good, staff in box office really helpful when choosing tickets and staff at entrance and inside excellent as well. Bathroom attendant very good and lovely clean loos. Lots of places to but drinks at each level. Bit of a log jam getting out which took a long time, but that’s a minor quibble! Easy to get a cab downtown afterwards.

Built in 1929, the Beacon seats around 2,600 and has been restored to its original art deco style glory. The property is gorgeous, with its golden statues, rich dark red curtains and glorious paintings, making for a fabulous setting for entertainment. The Beacon has a beautiful lobby as well as full balcony.
It doesn't look like there is a bad seat in the house and my son and I were lucky to have seats 11 rows from the stage for Jerry Seinfeld and he lived up to his billing and then some and the acoustics were excellent. Would love to have a 2nd visit to this theater. In a great area of town and we enjoyed the 15 block walk to and from our hotel.

When we went to a farewell concert in October, the woman who checked my husband’s very small crossbody bag took out all of his stuff and was inspecting them for such a long time that the people behind my husband in line to get in were giving her odd looks. Then, as I was waiting in line for the WC, another woman bellowed at me to not block a certain door, even though it was not an exit door. A few minutes later, I looked behind me to see whether she was keeping that door clear, but she wasn’t, which heightened my suspicion that she deliberately picked me for her abuse. I’ve read of these ethnic groups’ bewildering attacks on hapless strangers. The refreshment counter was bedlam, and one of the women at the register bellowed at everyone for some organization. It is not for the guests to know how to organize themselves in the theater’s small rooms, but it is for the theater’s aides’.
Such tasteless behaviour put a dent on our evening. It wasn’t in keeping with what we were led to believe about the place. I guess the era of fine people for fine places will only be a memory.

Wonderfully grandiose. Seats are comfortable but located on a very steep incline.
Needs to be improved: the row designations are located where they are almost impossible to see. Yetis a light shining at the base of each row where management could place the row number. Instead people were using flashlights and cell phones trying to figure out which row was which and frequently sitting in wrong rows and having to move. $12.00 beer and $14.00 wine available first and upper floors; hard liquor on first floor. monogrammed plastic glasses. Tedeshi-Trucks was an excellent concert even from the nose bleed seats

The Beacon Theatre is an entertainment venue and former movie palace at 2124 Broadway New York City, NY. Before going into the theatre, you can buy some cakes or cookies in Levain Bakery which is next to the Beacon Theatre. For living, I love the Hotel Beacon.

Is there street parking near the Beacon Theatre?

In most of Manhattan, if you find meters on the street, you can only park for one hour (about $3.50 an hour), not enough time to see the concert. Instead, search for parking garage coupons online, but with a popular event in a popular neighborhood like the one I attended, garage parking is more expensive.

I heard that there are no bad seats! It is a small and intimate theater. Sometimes you can find views online from the balcony which shows that the seats are still very good!

Beacon is all assigned seating as far as I know. I have never heard of General. I fear it may be in the nosebleeds.
