I took an eleven year old, a thirteen year old and my Aunt. They enjoyed the experience. While we were there one of the artists actually came in. There is the gallery part and an art supply part. It was a truly wonderful experience.

This small gallery directly across from the beautiful Artesian Hotel and Casino features working artisans in a variety of art mediums, including woodworking, weaving, jewelry making and fine art paintings. Their working studios are available as a creative space for individual artists and the paintings on display were some of the best I have seen in the area. All of the featured artists are of native American ancestry, but the artwork is not necessarily Indian in subject matter. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable about all the artists. It is definitely worth the stop as you travel through Chickasaw country!

This store is very close to the Artesian Hotel. I was very surprised to see it was more a store than a Gallery. They had all kinds of supplies from paper to color pens.
They even had books from Chickasaw authors. Wish I would of purchased one of those small paperbacks I was interested in.
They did have paintings on the wall by Chickasaw painters.
Next time I stay at the Artesian, I'm going to walk nearby and purchase that book!!

The weaving is exceptionally beautiful. We were able to look at the looms that had yarn, and found it to be interesting and hard work by artisans. Some of the artists are self-taught, and some are exceptional. The photography was beautiful as were a couple of the bronze figures. It is worth going to look around, and it is free.

This place seems to be where they hold classes and some artists work here. It is nice place to cool off on a hot day, but you can see everything there is to see in about 10 minutes.

More than what I expected. Art Supplies and more. Art on display and for sale but the best was that some of the artists are there at various times and will answer questions about their crafts and how they started. Very interesting.

if you got time be sure to visit here some very good art exhibits.. i enjoy art but not for everyone and not a must see

This gallery has a number of studio spaces dedicated to various disciplines -- weaving, carving etc. as well as display spaces and a large gift shop. The staff were friendly and informative.

Stopped by to see the art work & was delighted that the staff welcomed us as old friends as soon as we walked in the door. Had some very good pictures that we found very interesting. Talked with one of the local artist while he was working on a carving. Enjoyed my time there.

Exclusively Native American artists but not necessarily "Indian Art". Great art supply store. Beautiful building. Convenient location across from the Artesian Hotel.
