We had a great time!
There’s a fee for admission, $20 per adult. The tickets themselves look like tiny postcards and make a great little souvenir.
They have 4 different color marked trails with estimated times of 15 mins to over 2 hours. All of the trails sort of intertwine and overlap in the main area (you can find the map on their website) and you don’t necessarily have to follow any particular one, they also give you the map with your tickets.
There are a lot of steps, from the top of one waterfall to the bottom of another one, you are definitely in the mountains and although it’s very safe and nicely done with boardwalks and wooden steps and bridges, the only way to go up or down in elevation is to go up and down lots of steps!
They do not allow strollers in (it would be impossible to navigate, between steps and some narrow area where people go in either direction) and they have a stroller check area just outside of the entrance. We knew this ahead of time so we left the stroller in the car and got it afterwards to walk around the shops.
We used a baby carrier for our 27lb toddler and it worked great. I would highly recommend doing so if you want to explore but have a little one. We also talked to a family who said it was too much for their 6 year old.
We also brought our small dog. For some of the steeper steps or the stairs that felt never ending, we picked him up, but he did great everywhere else, and could easily handle the smaller staircases.
I would say if you give yourself extra extra extra time, you can probably bring younger kids that have to walk on their own. If you plan on it taking way longer than the estimated times, there’s no rush and it doesn’t quite feel like such a workout. If you’re trying to go through the trails fast, it’s going to be challenging for anyone!
Bring lots of water per person/dog,and wear comfortable shoes. You can bring snacks in with you, we brought uncrustables, peanut butter pretzels, ham and cheese sliders, etc. There’s a picnic area in the parking lot but they do not allow picnics in the trail area.

Local beauty! I have visited many times and appreciate the beauty each time as if it were the first time viewing.
The park offers several options for hiking/viewing. I advise respecting the warning signs that indicate the paths ahead are steep, rocky, and only for avid hikers (that would be Red trail). Don't attempt unless you are an avid hiker and are wearing sturdy shoes or boots.

The hike to see the waterfalls was beautiful. Great place to make memories with family and friends. There is a gift shop and a snack bar.

Stunning views of the falls. We went on a rainy day and it was just magical. Such a beautiful thing to do with family and children. The forest is breath taking. I highly recommend going.

Great experience. The facility was very clean and organized (except for the restrooms). There were lots of stairs, but well worth it. The views were amazing. I wish I had the stamina to see more falls than that main one, but the trails to the other falls were for avid hikers (not couch potatoes on vacation like me).

Nature's way created this deep canyon cut through the mountains. En route over the falls, Little Bushkill Creek now marks the way to the Delaware River.
The managers of this property have done a suburb job making it accessible for us to enjoy. Great sight!

The falls themselves are lovely and well worth the hike, but the surroundings are fairly touristy with snack bars and souvenir shops. Once you get past that, views of the falls are absolutely gorgeous. I appreciated the fact that the map you’re given shows trails of varying degrees of difficulty, so that you can choose the hike that suits your fitness level.

This set of hiking trails is privately owned and charges admission. There are several trails, much of it with boardwalks and steps. Trails are well maintained. The falls are lovely. The trails are well maintained but could be more clearly blazed. Lots of dogs. Lots of people on the main (easiest) trail. But much quieter on the other trails.

With many "free" waterfalls around I was not sure if it would be worth the $18 entry fee, but it was definitely worth a visit. It is called the "Niagara of PA", which is quite a stretch, but it is very impressive. They have quite an extensive trail/walkway system which makes it easy to get around. However be aware you do have to navigate quite a bit of stairs if that is an issue for you. We went on a Saturday in the heart of leaf season and we were concerned about parking...We arrived around 10:00am and had no issues finding a spot. It looks like they recently added a large additional lot. however around noon it got very busy and parking was more challenging to find. I am guessing the trail got pretty full as well. It is definitely worth a visit, despite the price.

Beautiful, well maintained grounds.
A few small shops to buy souvenirs, wet your whistle or get a snack. We enjoyed our visit. It was worth the 2 hour trip.

Is there a large parking lot? We would love to stop on our way through on Friday, but we will be towing a camper.

Yes there is a very large parking lot that would easily fit most campers and autos

We are planning to go to this place around July 14. Does anyone know of a coupon code for to get tickets at a discount?

Nope sorry but I do recommend you get ticks online, the lines to purchase ticks at location are long.

I plan to come to the falls on a weekday near the end of July, probably mid day. I’ve read where the trails can be really crowded. Is that true? Trying to decide if it’s worth the trip.

I went on a Friday mid morning and it was perfect. Not too crowded. I did noticed as we neared the end of the trails that it was getting more crowded. I would assume the earlier the better especially in the summer months.

How long does it normally take to fully appreciate Bushkill Falls

I would allow for 2-3 hours to take your time and take in the nature.
