This is our first time in Philadelphia and we decided to take a bike tour to see the city.
It was amazing, Joe filled us with all the details of how the city developed & cycled such interesting routes & even sorted the weather !
He was friendly , informative & we would recommend if you want a guided tour of Philadelphia, we recommend you take the Classic Philadelphia Bike Tour.

EXCELLENT Tour & wonderful way to see the city! The bikes were easy to ride and our guide, Jonas, was knowledgeable, attentive, and accommodating (he added a detour for us to see the 6th Sense house). Such a fun experience! I highly recommend for anyone wanting a cool way to explore Philly!

We had a such a great bike tour with Joe! We started at the art museum and made some great stops at South Street, along the river, the Liberty Bell and Delancey Street! He was informative and engaging with background stories and history for each place we visited! It was also a gorgeous fall day!

We had a great day with Joe . He provided terrific insights into the historical event and how they influence our current world. He is a curious guy with plenty of topics to cover and discuss on a day of riding

I had an amazing time with our guide Joe and one other guest. He showed us the biggies - Phil. Art Museum, Liberty Bell, etc. - with stops at lesser known (to me) destinations such as the river trail, Philadelphia's Magic Gardens, and the lovely side streets near Rittenhouse Square. It was a beautiful day and I feel like I saw and learned so much. Thank you!

We did a 3-hour bike tour in the city and we liked it a lot. One of the highlight was the stop at the beautiful Washington square. Thank you Joe!

We had Joe as our guide and he was super informative detailing interesting background to what we were seeing. Not your standard bike tour !

Excellent and comprehensive tour of Center Philadelphia. Our guide, joe was very knowledgeable and had very interesting. Thoughts about public art and was very informative. Great trip.

The tour was well structured and we experienced many differing and interesting locations in Philadelphia. However, what really made the tour for us was Joe ! He made the history, architecture and above all art of Philadelphia come alive, and made the Classic Tour an unforgettable experience!

Great leisurely tour with Joe giving interesting and insightful talks at each stop. Very comfortable bikes and we felt very safe with Joe and the “sweep”:rider working together with clear instructions and briefing. Varied and interesting and recommended especially early in a visit to the city.

How long do you stop at each site? Just wondering if we will need to go back to all the sites for pictures, etc. after the tour is over or not.

We were able to stop for as long as needed with plenty of time for pictures.

I'm sorry but we can't offer a discount for bringing your own bikes. You are welcome to do so, but we can't be responsible for maintenance or flat fixing on your bikes, so we would suggest you ride with a spare tube just in case.

If it's raining, and you don't feel comfortable riding, we can cancel and give you a full refund. If it's only lightly raining, and you do want to ride, we have ponchos!

Sounds like a great Mothers' Day!
I just called Philly Bike Tour and was told they don't permit kids under 14 to ride.
Did you have any other bike tour companies that you had looked into before settling in on this one

Our current policy allows children 12 and up, with a parent or guardian. We do ride in city streets where it's important to understand and follow certain rules of the road. Our age policy has evolved over time, and has always reflected our concern for the safety of our riders, which is our highest priority.

I have done bike tours with my family including three children in Washington, DC and Canada. Why is there an age restriction with your company? They are just below 14 and disappointed. Other companies in the area?

We have done bike tours in almost every city in the US. I have a medium size Service Dog and she rides in a Burley or Tandem trailer behind my bike. Would like to do a bike tour with your company but would need a Burley or trailer for Lucy. I noticed you don't allow kids under 14 on your tours so I am not sure you have a Burley or tandem trailer available.
