We couldn’t figure our way out, but had a lot of fun trying! Employees very nice, picture taken, and a great bday combined with the golf driving place.

We have done many escape rooms, lots here in Jax but this one was the best setup I’ve seen yet!!! It wasn’t easy by any means but the puzzles weren’t so hard that they were impossible either. It was just right. Called and the manager James was really nice and told us all about the place, and then when we got there our guide Erica was awesome! She did a great job explaining and providing us with a couple of clues!! Already planning our next trip back!!

My first ever Escape Room experience and it was a total blast!!! When my family suggested this outing I was reticent but I’m so glad I went. We had so much fun and successfully escaped with only 1.5 minutes to spare.

We had a great time with a group of friends ages 16-56 at The Great Escape room. We went for a friends birthday and she brought her teenage sons. It was fun for everyone even though we didn't escape the room, we would go back again. It certainly is a challenging puzzle we had to solve.

Awesome double date! The staff was excellent and friendly. Facility was nice. Puzzles were hard but oh so fun! I Loved the photo op with props at the end.

Staff was great. They helped us pick a theme that we enjoyed. 4 people is the best size group. You really have to work as a group so go with people you like.

The hardest room at The Great Escape Room! We got it with 7 minutes to go! I think there's a sweet spot as far as number of people, and we hit it with 7 people. Too many and you stumble all over each other, too few and you can't get enough done in time. Fun!

On a recent work trip to Tampa, we decided to do an escape room at The Great Escape Room, downtown. We chose the Colosseum, which was a very engaging and challenging series of rooms! It was a perfect balance of puzzles and theme, which basically places you in the colosseum’s bowels, imprisoned and awaiting your fate as gladiator fodder. In addition to the puzzles and some scavenging, there’s plenty of special effects and some physicality required to follow Spartacus’ path to freedom. The high point for me was the catacombs and the final room, lots of surprises in the crypt. And I loved the touch of having to rely on “torches” to find your way around, locate the puzzles, and figure them out!
