Had Moises as a tour guide. Very welcoming and knowledgeable about the land and history. Also very good at taking pics of the rock formations and of you lol. It was me and 11 other people and it was mostly just our group out there which was amazing cuz you didn’t feel rushed at all.

We had been wanting to see Antelope Canyon..and this was even better. We felt very lucky to have a local Navajo guide take us onto their private land to a beautiful slot canyon and share his experiences, stories and insight. (His name is Chance.) We then went to Horse Shoe Bend (again on his land) for a stunning view at sunset - so much better than the public view option. Just a wonderful experience, enhanced by a very knowledgeable and personable guide.

This tour was the best. Our guide was fully knowledgeable in this area and an excellent photographer. There were two other couples with us so we were able to be still and listen to the canyon.

We had a wonderful time. We could’ve spent many hours in this canyon. The guide was very knowledgeable and very helpful to us being able to see and experience the canyon. We had a small group and plenty of time without pressure from other groups coming through. Would highly recommend this tour.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the tour through Slot Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. The private tour is absolutely the way to go to avoid large crowds and learn the history and science behind the area. We can’t wait to go back!

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. We did the Secret Antelope Canyon / Horseshoe Bend Sunset Combo. Our tour guide Bo was excellent. He gave us information and history of the canyon and answered all of our questions, He gave us photo tips and even made pictures for us. There were 10 of us, and we were the only people at the canyon and the overlook. We did the sunset tour, and it was spectacular! The slot canyon is amazing as well as Horseshoe Bend. We had time on our own at both places to make photos and explore. Do this tour if you get the chance.

This slot canyon was incredible - similar in every way to Antelope, except much better tour experience with time to explore and take photos, without being rushed thru. A private spot at horseshoe bend allowed time for appreciation and photo opps as well. Our tour guide, Moses, was amazing! Thanks so much!

Hello! We do not guarantee you will see a light beam in the canyon, but you have the greatest possibility of seeing one on our 8am or 9am combination tours.

You really want to do the slot canyon in the AM or by mid day when the sun is above.
Horseshoe would be nice at sunset.
We did both together and went in the AM.

So sorry for the lateness of my reply - just going through my emails after a long trip overseas! We were there in the middle of September. It was hot in Page then. We did the 3pm-6.30pm combined Horseshoe Bend Slot Canyon & Horseshoe Bend tour. We were hoping to get a sunset at Horseshoe Bend. It wasn't too hot for the walk in to the slot canyon. The sun was shining right into the camera at Horseshoe Bend so was a bit difficult to get good photos until just before we left Horseshoe Bend right at sunset. I have no idea about the middle of October for temperatures - sorry.

This is on Navajo land. I don't think they will let you use a drone.

I believe the best time is around 11:00 A.M. They usually reserve that tour time for photographic tours of about 2 hours that also cost more. The guides will toss more sand into the air to catch more light and spend more time at each turn for pictures.

Yes! All slot canyons in Page, AZ require a guided tour.
