The crab shuttle goes daily from kampot to Kep and we organise local boats from kep to rabbit island. Your idea to spend a day on rabbit island and join the crab shuttle back to kampot is completely possible. That's pretty simple! You just book with us for a one way ticket from Kep to Kampot. We leave 3.30 pm from Kep and arrive in Kampot around sunset. Just check and confirm 1 day ahead if you pre-book.

I would consider a different route with such a schedule. To reach Koh Rong from Phnom Penh or Takeo directly in one day is challenging enough. Please consult the appropriate sources to adjust your plans

Hello Oriane, We're quite pleased that you've heard such good stories about us and that you're even willing to adjust your schedule for us. To answer your question: We service both routes. In the morning we departure at 9.30 am from Kampot to Kep (arrival 12 am) and in the afternoon we depart Kep at 3.30 pm and arrive in Kampot around 6 pm. In July the weather plays a big factor and let me explain the pros and cons of each direction; Kampot to Kep Since this is the morning trip you'll have the greatest chance of the Shuttle going. Especially during these months (May, June, July) the winds are less in the mornings and the boat trip is more smooth. In general these morning trips are for everyone and if weather and time allow for it we hug the Kep coastline while I explain a little about Kep. The only possible downside is that the afternoon trip is in general rated higher as you can see by the reviews. But I can assure you that I know that some of these reviews here have been written by people who have only taken a one way ticket Kampot to Kep. Kep to Kampot Yes, the seas may be rougher in the afternoon but for most of the guests that has been a price they happily paid for the experience. We spend about 1.5 hours at sea and even while usually a bit rougher the beautiful light makes it worthwhile and whatever the sea has thrown at you, all customers, without exception, have quickly forgotten the hardship once we reach the river, slow down, enjoy the sunset and watch the fishing boats go out to sea. A magical hour. However, due to safety and comfort concerns there is a higher chance that we might cancel the afternoon trips because of the wind and weather. Hi, we depart Kampot at 9.30 am each day. At the moment we don't run the return from Kep to Kampot in the afternoon because of strong winds. Please check the evening before your intended departure whether we run the next day. Kind regards, Jerome
