‪إذا كنت في المدينة ، خذ وقتًا للتوقف أو إلقاء نظرة خارجية على الأقل. إنه مبنى رائع - ليلا أو نهارا.‬

‪كان لدينا جولة إرشادية جيدة للغاية للمبنى مع دنت دراية جداً. كان من دواعي سروري التحدث إليها أثناء انتظار الجولة. لقد دهشنا كيف تمكنت من السيطرة على الأطفال خلال الجولة - "طفل يهمس". المبنى مذهل في تصميمه واستخدامه للحجر والمقياس. من المذهل المشي في القاعات ، ثم التوقف والبحث. بصفتي كندي ، لاحظت عدة مرات أننا ببساطة لا نمتدح تراثنا كما يفعل الأمريكيون على الرغم من ثراء تاريخنا. يفعلون ذلك بشكل أفضل. عمل رائع ، شكراً جزيلاً للحاكم وموظفيه.‬

‪We were here just after Thanksgiving and saw the ginormous Christmas Tree in the rotunda. The tree was named 'Frank' for some reason. There are free tours offered at the top of the hour. There is virtually no security compared to the Texas Capitol, for instance. It's one of the biggest and best Capitol buildings in the country. Worth a visit, no matter how short.‬

‪Amazing views from the top‬

‪They got me on this one... I normally prefer the self guided tours but as a group was just leaving I was persuaded to join. They have access to a couple of rooms that you don't on your own such as the governors office, which I wanted to see. The tour was very informative and the guide was very knowledgeable. I made it through most of the tour and then went on my own way as I was running short on time. I headed upstairs to the museum and of course the terrace around the outside of the dome. Overall it was very interesting I enjoyed learning about the red granite and the origins of the name Wisconsin. Do make sure to touch the badger's nose outside the governor's office for good luck and don't miss the terrace... the views are great from there.

One of the more interesting capitol buildings, highly recommend visiting here.‬

‪Beautiful building in a peaceful setting. ‬

‪We spent a lovely morning wandering about the capitol building. There was a farmer's market, and a cheese festival going on which was fun. The capitol was pretty to walk around in, but we were so excited that we could walk to the top of the building too. There is a big terrace all the way around for 360 views of Madison. Highly recommend it on a sunny day! ‬

‪We enjoyed being able to enter the building and just look around. The architecture is fascinating, grand - and complicated. Do make sure to get up to the observation deck if you can handle lots of stairs - and check out the 6th floor museum that is laid out in a circle.‬

‪It is really nice to see a capitol building open to the public - we went on a Saturday during the Farmers Market. Pay attention to all the artistic details and you will not be disappointed.‬

‪The capitol is a grand start to an exploration of Madison. The tour points out the relevant symbols and artifacts throughout the building as well as the structure and design. After reading some reviews below, we did not climb to the viewpoint - in fact no one mentioned it when we were there. So, maybe ask for it? We took the guided tour which we appreciated when noting details that are hidden in a painting. If you enjoy touring capitols, don't miss this one.‬

‪The Wisconsin State Capitol is situated in downtown Madison. It is a nice area with green trees and great views of the beautiful building.

Free tours are available from 9.00 on the hour and our guide did a great job, making our tour really interesting and memorable. ‬

‪Finally got to stop here‬

‪Several times I've wanted to stop here but just didn't have a lot of time. Finally had a chance to take a stroll around the perimeter. It's an interesting capitol building where you're not quite sure where the front is (maybe there is none). There was some renovation going on but nothing too bad. We were able to find street pay parking immediately but one with a very short time limit.‬
