I Called United taxi for transportation from French Quarter to the New Orleans Airport. Driver was promptly on time. He was very polite. I sat in rear seat and had a view of the speedometer. We reached speeds of 90 miles per hour on the interstate and At 90 mph he weaved in and out of traffic and took call on his cellphone. I thought we were going to die. You should Call this taxi company only if you like to live dangerously and May God keep you safe.

Awful ride. Driver did not display license. Driver drove in bike lane. We almost got hit twice. Cab 1312 was on the phone. I had to turn on Waze and give him directions twice. Awful. Do not call this company

If I could I would give a negative score. Don’t use this company! I had to ask the operator on the phone 3 x if he was still on the phone, poor communication skills. The driver did not turn on the meter, which I did not notice at first. When I arrived at my destination it cost almost 2 x as much ($25) as the Uber ride ($13) I had gotten earlier to get to the restaurant, so same mileage. I felt royally ripped from but as a woman in a cab with a male driver I did not want to risk anything at nighttime so I paid the fare.

A real plus is that most vehicles are vans and the drivers friendly. I was going to give them a poor review - after 4X of prompt excellent service, we had a call for a cab that never came even after 3 calls to the company!
I was surprised that this great service had suddenly turned horrible.
In our group I paid 3 of those times and left a 25% tip - cabbies work hard for their money.
The 4th trip was paid by a member of our group who gave $15 on a $13.25 fare - I was furious. I then knew why no cab came on call #5!!!

Completely unreliable cab service, at least for us. We were visiting New Orleans and when we called for a cab, they sent nothing. After waiting 15-25 min, we called back, and they just responded with "its on its way". (From where? Nebraska?). This happened multiple times and in each case we had to call back to get them to send a cab. If you consider both the original call and wait time, and then the call back and wait time, we were waiting for these bozo's for over an hour. Then when we ended up flagging down another taxi, they wanted to call us about where we were. What do you think dipstick? You think we are going to wait 3 hours for a cab?? Use another cab service if you are in New Orleans.

We usually walk everywhere, but my husband broke his leg shortly before our trip. We used United exclusively as they had mimj Van's and were able to accommodate his iwalk crutch and knee scooter. We had different drivers every time and all of them we helpful, pleasant & informative.
We so appreciated their unreserved "neiborlyness".

Very pleased with the driver and vehicle. Called three hours before pickup. Driver was on time and called to let me know he was in front of the hotel. The cab was clean and the driver very friendly and carried on a pleasant conversation.

We have NEVER been in such a filthy, dirty cab. It was totally unacceptable. We should have refused our ride. We didn’t want to touch door or even sit on the dirty seats. Isn’t there inspections of these cabs? We were on the way to the airport & had time constraints. The driver was on time, very efficient, & friendly, but equally unclean? Cab #0827. Retire that cab!!!! It SMELLED BAD!!!! We’ll take a LYFT from now on.

My husband didn’t want to go on one of the night tours & I didn’t want to walk to the starting point alone at night. My hotel suggested United Cab & called them for me & he was at the hotel to pick me up within 5 minutes. The drivers on both my going & return trips were extremely nice & made me feel comfortable right away. Also they didn’t go around the long way to run up the bill. I highly recommend this cab service if you need one while in New Orleans.

We were picked up from the airport by a very delightful United Cab driver for transport to our stay at the B&W Courtyards Bed & Breakfast. Our driver Nancy gave us a history of Nawlins on our drive. She also asked what we were interested in and gave us hints and recommendations on where to go and what to eat. This was not our first visit and because of Nancy we visited places we had not gone to in the past. We became instant friends and used her services for the remainder of our stay. When in Nawlins again we will be sure to request Nancy.

Hello, I will be arriving with my 3 year old at the airport and need a cab to a location in Kenner. I am not taking a car seat with me since its a long international flight (and Ill have one brought to me the next day I arrive). I need to know if it is allowed to take a child without a car seat in a cab? I cannot find what the La law says about this and I dont want to have a problem since I arrive at midnight. Can someone please tell if cabs take you without a car seat no problem? this will be only to and from the airport and within Kenner.
