‪5 or under play area‬

‪We went with our nine year old expecting it to be similar to the other children’s museums we’ve visited in other cities. We realized within 5 minutes it was very small and had activities focused on ages 2-5 years old. We went back to the front seeing if we could get a refund for our four tickets and they said no, even though we were only there for 5-10 minutes. So, we left with passes to come back, but we don’t live in the city and have no interest in spending time at the museum in the future. This is a play area for kids 2-5, not a typical children’s museum. Even for that age group, it’s quite a bit of money for what they offer. I wish they just refunded our money.‬

‪On a very wet rainy day the museum was a God send when entertaining a 2 year old.
Staff were in the facility. Helpful and well trained.
Exhibits are very good and cater for a good age range.‬

‪Fun activity for preschool to early elementary kids‬

‪The Children’s Museum had several areas for kids to play and explore. We were there with our 4-year-old grandson who seemed to have a great time.‬

‪Definitely my kids favorite part of our trip. This place keep them entertained for hours. I’ve never seen out 4 year old run around and play so much.‬

‪The Louisiana Children's Museum in City Park is absolutely wonderful! So spacious, easy parking and a great eatery adjoining LCM. Lots of hands on activities for kids that encourage learning. Quite a lot of activity on the two floors of this busy, happy place ‬

‪Fun day for all!‬

‪Our group of 5 adults and 4 children had a blast. Plenty of activities to keep the kiddos engaged. We had breakfast and lunch at the cafe. Wide selection on the menu. We did not get to do many outdoor activities, it was a flaming hot and humid day‬

‪The children's museum is so interactive and designed to support development, play, and curiosity of young children. There are multiple exhibits ranging from markets to STEM areas, water tables, arts and crafts, nature play, and an edible garden. It is highly recommended and in a great spot in City Park.‬

‪The museum has many more interactive abut my kids loved the bubble pulley system. The spent turn after turn trying to reach 6 feet of bubbles. The museum sits inside a much larger park with plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run around.‬

‪The building and grounds are amazing, as is City Park. The museum itself is beautiful, well-lit and spacious. However, in terms of actual activities, it seems to be purely directed towards the very little ones. Our 9-year old really didn't enjoy most of the activities, and this is from a family who loves going museums of all kinds. The outside space was probably the most exciting, and that was mainly just free-play. I also think the diversity in terms of patrons and types of activities is quite limited. They could definitely do more - they seem to have the space and the funding for it!‬
