‪We had a great time and would HIGHLY recommend! Colin was incredibly knowledgeable about the architecture, history, and ecology of the bayou and clearly loves the area.‬

‪Sunset kayak on the bayou‬

‪Definitely worth it! It was interesting to hear about the history of some of the houses along the bayou and we even saw an alligator!‬

‪Like a couple of maniacs, my wife and I booked a kayak tour in the August heat -- even though it was an ungodly hot day, Trishshell was an amazing guide. She shared awesome stories about both the history and the ecology of the bayou, and we got plenty of paddling done in between shade breaks under the bridges. This was one of the major highlights of our trip to New Orleans and would heartily recommend to everyone. Thank you again Trishshell!

‪Amazing Tour of the Bayou‬

‪Trishell was an amazing tour guide! It was very easy to communicate with her on the timing and meeting spot of the tour. Our group of three learned so much about the history of the city of New Orleans, the bayou and plenty of other fun facts. Trishell gave us great tips on navigating the kayak all while making it a fun and memorable activity. Highly recommend this tour!‬

‪Paddle and Learn about Bayou St. John‬

‪We had an amazing time learning about the Bayou St. John's nature and history with Colin. Colin was a great guide and was so much fun. We were only a couple miles from the French Quarter but felt like we were so many miles away. I highly recommend taking a Kayak-iti-Yat tour for anyone staying in New Orleans. It is so close either by walking, biking, or a taxi/rideshare, and you will get to see a different side of the area.‬

‪Really fun & wonderful. We appreciated the focus on history, the environment, and the wildlife. Real bonus was paddling by an alligator! Colin, Thank you for an amazing adventure and we really enjoyed hearing you and your band perform later that evening.‬

‪Thank you again for hosting Seattle Academy on the kayak tour. We were so excited to come back post Covid, and it was everything we dreamed of and more. You all are outstanding with adults and kids. I would take my group no place else! See you in 2024!!‬

‪We had a terrific time on the bayou tour with Trishell. She is funny, personable, knowledgeable, and deeply passionate about New Orleans and the ecosystem of Lower Louisiana. The vibe on the water as dusk approached was peaceful. All five of us had a blast—mom, dad, grandpa, and two kids ages 7 and 9. Thank you, Kayak-iti-Yat.‬
