‪It’s a nice beautiful bridge. The main reason we went was so I can say I’ve been to two places at once. Worth the stop if that is something on your bucket list.‬

‪A fun way to cross state lines‬

‪It was fun to walk across this cool bridge across the Missouri River and be in another state. It took about 30 minutes round trip and we enjoyed every minute of it. The views from the bridge were really nice and on the Iowa side we saw a bit of wildlife on the shore.‬

‪We went on a hot day but found shade on the Iowa side. A great way to get a good walk in and get good views of Omaha and venture into Iowa.‬

‪Known as "Bob the Bridge", this pedestrian span connects Omaha, NE and Council Bluffs, IA. It is very popular with both walkers and cyclists. The distance is .9 miles each way. Toward the center of the bride one may plant their feet so that one foot is in Nebraska and the other one is in Iowa.‬

‪Great spot to get a great walk, be in two states and see some great views. Nice unique walk as we explored Omaha! Parking early was easy and the atmosphere was excellent!‬

‪This bridge spans the Missouri River, between Omaha and Council Bluffs. You can actually stand in both Nebraska and Iowa at the same time, out in the middle of the bridge. From downtown Omaha, pedestrian access is from the intersection of 10th & Capitol, or you can drive around to the north to get to Riverfront Drive - there's a small parking lot at the bridge, or you can park at the large National Park Service building. The approach to the bridge curves around a splash pad type fountain that is especially enjoyed by the kids.‬

‪I went there with my friend and it's very interesting that there's an state of suspension bridge that goes from one end of the Missouri River to the other and especially and when you are in two states at the same time.‬

‪This bridge was a cool location. Very clean, playground for the kids, and cool art. It was a nice walk and cool to be in 2 places at once. Definitely recommend.‬

‪Did you know they're reversing past Missouri River development?‬

‪Be in two states on the same trip - the Missouri River marks the border between Nebraska and Iowa.
Took 15 minutes to cross. No refreshments available either end of the bridge (the Pavilion on the Iowa side was closed for a private event) so bring your own water bottle.
Also there's a bit of construction on the waterfront so a number of paths leading to the bridge were closed.
Interesting informational panels about the Missouri River ecology were surprisingly interesting to read.‬

‪Pretty cool pedestrian bridge!‬

‪LONG bridge between NE & IA over the Missouri River. Great walk but quite the inclines. We didn’t go at night, but probably real nice lit up.
Good for bicycles, too. Free outdoor activity & plenty of parking. Small parks at both ends, too.‬
