Άλλος ένας καταρράκτης που μπορέσαμε να πάμε από πίσω του παρόλο του ότι είμαι χειμώνας.η διαδρομή άξιζε και με το παραπάνω γι’αυτο που είδαμε!!

No dejar de Ver!!...
Es una corta caminata por un cañón que lleva a una hermosa cascada, en mi caso parcialmente congelada, por lo que la cueva de atrás estaba con hielo. De todas formas se puede caminar algo hacia la cascada teniendo cuidado con el hielo.

We came here with little to no expectations, but our mind were blown after we saw this waterfall which has a special magic to it

Bei den vielen, vielen Wasserfällen in Island kann man sie schon leicht verwechseln. Nach dem Besuch des Skogafoss haben wir uns entschlossen, auch noch hierher zu schauen - trotz Regen - und es war beeindruckend. Es handelt sich nicht um den allerprächtigsten Wasserfall von Island, aber wir haben den Besuch genossen und können ihn empfehlen.

Visitata per caso, ed è una delle cascate che ho preferito!
Dal parcheggio del museo in 10 minuti a piedi, forse meno, ti ritrovi in un contesto meraviglioso con davanti una cascata che puoi attraversare. Il getto è forte e ci si bagna tantissimo ma andare sotto ad una cascata è un esperienza che rifarei mille volte!!!

Cascata patrimonio dell'unesco in un'ambientazione fiabesca. Ci potete anche passare dietro ma mettete in conto una bella doccia fresca. Una delle più suggestive cascate che ho visto in Islanda.Possibilità di parcheggio e visita al museo della tecnica e trasporti. Molto carino.

This waterfall is right next to the Skogar museum, and close to Skogafoss.
The waterfall path is signposted from the bottom corner of the car park (near the technical museum) and is an undulating gravel path; takes about 15 minutes to walk.
The waterfall itself is beautiful, despite being less spectacular than Skogafoss. A great bonus is it’s easy to walk behind the waterfall and we were fortunate to see rainbows across the falls when we visited; it’s also relatively quiet with very few people, especially compared with the crowds at Skogafoss!
The Skogar museum is also worth a look, especially the open air part where there are several old buildings recreated.

Super waterval! Erg leuke wandeling van ongeveer 10 minuten. Wanneer je de waterval ziet denk je wow! Tip ga rond de avond is het rustiger.
Helaas konden we er nier achter lopen. Het pad was afgezet.

An excellent choice for experiencing a waterfall you can walk behind. Seljelandsfoss further up the road is more well-known for being able to walk behind it, but it is more crowded and also a bit more tricky (rocky part that requires some scrambling over slippery rocks). Kvernufoss is a relatively flat walk to the fall and flat walk behind the fall, which can be done by anyone with who can walk a gravel path. Entrance to the signed trail head is from a corner of a parking lot connected to the Skogar Museum parking lot. Small fee to park near the trail head or just walk over after visiting the worthwhile Skogar Museum.

Might be. They builed a ladder to cross the fence from Skogar museum and there is a nice path showing the way which... In my opinion.. Is a sign that you are very welcome to visit the waterfall :-)
