We purchased tickets in April for Christmas Eve. We were not notified that Legoland is closed now for renovations so my boys weren't able to receive their big Christmas gift and was told that we cannot get a refund even though, it is Legoland's fault that we weren't able to come.

It is amazing what they have fit inside a mall. Rides, playgrounds, and more. The kids never want to leave, parents do not have enough comfortable seats. I, always, end up on the floor which is not comfortable.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Found out they are closing tomorrow for a renovation which is GREATLY needed. Even with a renovation I don’t think the cost would be worth it at all. You would be better off taking the money and going to a full Lego store and buying a nice Lego.
If I could give this no stars I would but I had to put one to leave a review.
There are so many other things to do that are great experiences in Atlanta. Don’t waste your time or money on this place!

Omg, I know right. Me giving three stars. Really, must be something to talk about and it is. Well, the company does not illustrate on its site for this particular location, it’s for kids under the age of 10. It is not like the locations in Florida or California.
My kiddos did have surprising fun. Maybe because I am a big kid at heart. So, here is the lowdown on pros and cons.
Pros:
Employees are welcoming, honest, and professional
Adults must be accompanied by kids (love it because it’s a lot of predators in the world).
Adults must pay additional general admission to accompany children.
Theater is clean (4-d movie was great). The duration of movie was close to 15 minutes.

Restaurant area w/ decent selection of food
Restroom areas are clean and handicap accessible
Lego attractions are well put together
Mini-figure w/ purchase of certain package(s)
Digital kiosk picture station available
Cons:
Cannot get digital pictures printed in-store. Must use app.
Pricing should not be of equal value compared w/ the franchise attractions in other states.
Lego store has no T-shirts, hats, etc. Very sad they did not have personalized name tag for my son. His name is David. Do I have to say more.

Most of the stuff didn't work. Could have taken the kids to a playground and they would of had the same amount of fun and wouldn't have spent the money. Make sure they are big enough to ride the rides or that will be a waste as well.

Horrible and costly. NOT RAN BY LEGO —- we had 10 am reservations and nothing was open. Just a janky playground and small display of Atlanta buildings. The entire Ninjago section is broken. The ride finally opened at 11 after a good 30+ m keeping our 6 y and 7 y Lego lovers happy. We did VR for extra $5 kid and the lady gave them have the time she gave 2 adults. And the car build was to open at 11. Then switcher to 12. Utter waste of time and money. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The 2 lady managers were testy and rude.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta is a great place to go for all things fun and learning with Legos. I really like the location and layout of everything that they available here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. Great experience every time I have been here.

Great place for Lego loving kiddos to explore, build and play. We loved finding little things in the lego-sized replica of the DFW area. They had a few rides and experiences for the kids that were extra, but we did the basic package and still had a great time.

My husband and I purchased two adult tickets online. Although there was text on the side panel of the purchase pay saying adults must be accompanied by children, we thought it was humor--the opposite of children must be accompanied by adults. There was no issue purchasing only adult tickets. We left our home two hours away in time to access the exhibit at the scheduled time only to be told we could not enter without a child. Adults created the exhibits, but adults cannot enter without a child. We received our money back, but we left a day early on our trip to go to Legoland and could not go. To say the least we are very frustrated.

Half of the interactives didn’t even work. For the price, the offerings were very disappointing and had to pay extra for virtual rides. To us, not worth the admission price.

We took the kids on a weekdayand went in the minute it opened. Only around :00 did a group of kids on a field trip come in. We had no lines and easy seating in the theater. Even when the class group came in, it was not crowded until after 1:00. Have fun!

Are small dogs that are in a carry purse allowed in. He is a emotional support dog.

I would think simply as an outsider that as long as the dog is classified as an emotional support dog and contained in a purse, you may be ok..but I would call the attraction and talk to a staff member there to make sure. I may be completely wrong. There are a lot of people there and as there may be people coming in who are allergic or afraid of dogs, it's quite possible you won't be able to do this.

Can you bring outside food in, i.e. Snacks for kids, bagged lunch, etc? This is not answered on the FAQs page.

The Discovery Center is on the 3rd Floor of a mall. They have a Snack Bar, which we have never used.
We usually pack sandwiches in lunch box and use food court tables. Food court includes Johnny Rockets, Moe's, Earl of Sandwich.

Is this for children of all ages my nephew is turning 10 and I was thinking about taking him? Also is it a water park if so how is is?

It's more of a Discovery center not the actual park. I think your 10 year old nephew will enjoy it there. It has a 4d theater and a miny ride where you go and try to save the princess. They also have a lego and water table that you can make legos
