The driving tour is a nice, simple route that takes you to the visitor's center, the Wick House, and the re-created soldiers' huts. It's easy to stop and walk around the Wick House and the cell phone tour that is available gives you plenty of information about the area and the Wick family. The soldiers' huts are at the top of a pretty steep hill and it's fascinating to think of the army using the buildings through the winter of 1779-80. If you want to picnic or hike, this place is amazing and has miles and miles of well-marked trails.

This part of Morristown National Historical Park is several miles away from the Washington’s Headquarters Museum and the Ford Mansion (see separate reviews); both sections of the park can easily be visited in a half day or so. The Visitor Center here is very small and has only one main exhibit—a replica of a soldiers’ hut outfitted with authenticity, which was well done. They also show the video “Morristown: Where America Survived” here (the same one shown at the Washington’s Headquarters Museum, also available to view at their website). A park ranger was on hand to answer questions and suggest trails to take, etc. The grounds at this area of the park are quite lovely—perfect for strolling or hiking and feeling far away from civilization.
A short walk from the Visitor’s Center is the Wick House, a charming colonial home that was used by General St. Clair during the winter encampment. The interior was furnished to period, and an interpreter was onsite to answer questions and explain the significance of the house as visitors walked in (there were no formal tours of Wick House the day we visited).
In all, we spent about an hour at this end of the park. There is a large parking lot here; the Visitor Center has restrooms and a book store but no café.

I visited Jockey Hollow immediately after visiting the Washington Headquarters Museum and the Ford Mansion and Museum. One has to drive 10 miles from there to get to Jockey Hollow. I first went to the Jockey Hollow Visitor Center. They had a replica of a soldier hut which was very interesting and also a book and gift shop. After that you can do a self-guided driving tour. The main thing to see is three soldier huts. One needs to climb a long hill on foot to get to where the soldier huts are located. It was a very hot day so I decided just to stop halfway up the hill and take some photos. I think the Washington Headquarters Museum and the Ford Mansion Museum are "must sees". Jockey Hollow is worth a quick visit and for me, seeing the replica of a soldier hut in the Visitor Center and seeing the actual huts from a distance were good enough.

My wife and I visited Jockey Hollow today to check out the spring blossoms and plants in the Tempe Wick Farm area. It’s been cool so things were slow coming out, yet we enjoyed the beauty of the apple blossoms we saw and of course the fresh air.

After finding the visitors center we walked the short distance to the Wick House ( which was not open yet due to covid. We were able to look inside and Ann, a volunteer in costume was very informative. From there we found the yellow trail which we were told was 2/12 miles. It was a very pleasant afternoon.

Today my wife and I visited beautiful Jockey Hollow to take pictures of the autumn colors. While walking around the Tempe Wick Farm we were surprised to find a new Smokehouse Exhibit located by the Wick Family House. This exhibit brought back memories of my grandfather’s Kentucky smokehouse filled with delicious country smoked hams.

This visitor center is quietly tucked away from the hustle of Morristown. It's part of an easy loop tour with a few great places to stop, including seeing the replicas of the soldier's huts.

Jockey Hollow is a beautiful park. You can drive through on the tour road or park and walk some trails. It’s so peaceful and quiet here and a perfect place to walk in the outdoors.

COVID-19 has opened my eyes wider to see the beauty in things I’ve taken for granted, even the walks in Jockey Hollow. Last week we drove by Jockey Hollow and sadly it was still closed. When they finally re-open I’ll be ready with my camera, face mask, and practicing safe distancing on the trails so I can enjoy what nature has to offer. Until then I’ll be looking at pictures taken of some of the wildlife I’ve seen in Jockey Hollow.

I'm not sure. It's a park, and it's not like anyone is guarding the parking lot.

Would I be able to bring my son in a wheelchair? Any buildings not accessible?

I found this on the park's website. The National Park Service recommends going to the "Planning Your Trip" section of a park's website to find out about accessibility:
The Washington's Headquarters Museum and the Jockey Hollow Visitor Center are fully accessible to wheelchair users
Partially accessible bathrooms are located in the Washington's Headquarters Museum and the Jockey Hollow Visitor Center (stalls are wide enough, but doors into the bathrooms are not automatic).
The following walkways are paved: from the visitor parking lot into the Washington's Headquarters Museum and from the visitor parking lot into the Jockey Hollow Visitor Center.
The Jockey Hollow section of the park has more than 3 miles of paved roads open for touring by private vehicle. Wayside exhibit panels along the route are partially accessible, on paths and in flat, grass covered areas.
