Lovely swim 🏊♀️ at Gourock outdoor heated sea salt water pool. Was easy to float in , water nice and warm gorgeous views of the Clyde side at pool. £5 for adult swim , lockers £1, hair dryer 20p, might need a few 20p,s. We parked along on the main road , plenty of spaces. Have a free parking lot at right hand side of the pool , drive to the right side of parking for free. Will definitely return. Recommended to friends & family. Closes end of September for the season. We went on a Thursday when it opened later ,also tues am. Mon, wed & Fri early opening.

A unique and wonderful experience in a heated, salt water outdoor pool right alongside the the Clyde estuary in Scotland!! Seriously what more could you want. Friendly, helpful staff, clean facilities and good opening hours.
They have night swims as well and these are well worth it. I went later in the season so had a gorgeous sunset and then the stars - brilliant. I think the night session needs to be booked in advance.
It is worth travelling to, super views and Gourock has lovely Cafe's/restaurants to make a day of it

We visited here on Friday of this week. I was very impressed with the place. It opens at 7.30am on a Friday. I was a bit worried we wouldn’t get seating as we arrived for 10am. There was an event on which meant the sun deck area and seats weren’t available- this was my only complaint. This should have been advertised on their website. It did open at 12 and we were very lucky to get 2 loungers and seats. There’s only about 6 loungers. We had just set up around the main pool. Some folks take their own camp chairs. The pools are salt water so goggles are a good idea. There is lane swimming but also a spring board and diving dale. There’s a shallow pool too. The weather was fantastic and we stayed here all day. The views are absolutely stunning too. You can take in a cool box with food and drinks too. The changing rooms are mixed with good showers and sufficient lockers but u need old pound coins or shopping trolley coins. I will definitely return. Just hoping for an Indian summer.

Fun afternoon at the pool. Heated to a nice 30’ so lovely once in! The facilities were very clean. Bit of algae in the deep end but nothing bothersome.

What a joy it was for us to find this amazing pool. Passed by one day and it looked good, then the next day we visited it and went swimming, good value, clean as you would expect,

The water is beautiful if a bit salty (to be expected). Lovely and warm and clean. Great facilities and staff. The views are wonderful. Gourock is definitely on the up, great wee town.

This pool is excellent. Amazing spot looking right over the clyde towards Dunoon, The Holy loch and Loch Long. The water is warm, heated to 30C I believe, great changing rooms and showers and a sunbathing area for the nice sunny days. Well worth a visit.

Recommended by a friend, and it was good fun. Heated might be pushing it, but it was like warm. On a sunny day it’s very nice.

Loved the outdoor pool. The kids had such a great time. Great 80’s music.. easy listening played. Spotless clean pool and changing room. There is a gym but didn’t use that. Family tickets available. Local free parking. There is a separate fast and slow lane. Lockers available or you could take a basket and leave outside. All ages were enjoying. There is a terrace with patio furniture if the weather is good.

Went today and was so looking forward to it, everything great until we got in the water and it was freezing, something wrong with the water heater, if we had been told before paying we would not have gone in, wasted long journey and waste of money.

It closes at the end of September, but it operates restricted opening hours during the month of September.

Can you buy food at the poolside like sand whiches & icecream and drinks, or do we need to bring a picnic?

Bring your own food with you , or you could buy from the Sainsbury’s just along from it .

Yes! They have family changing rooms too!! It’s very salty so maybe bring goggles. Great pool.
