Travelled from Chester to visit. Checked online to see if open. Trip Advisor said open. Nothing on their own website about opening hours ( discovered later that it only gives those if you try to prebook tickets).
Absolutely closed.
Sign on ticket office just says closed with no explanation.
Cafe closed too even though a sign on the fence said only closed Wednesdays (it was Tuesday).
What a waste of time and fuel.

My little grandaughter and I had a lovely time at the Creepy Crawly Show at the Heritage Park. We have been before to a reenactment event which we also enjoyed. She really enjoyed Dave's show as did I, being allowed to touch(very gently) snakes, spiders and a flat bodied scorpion ! Great learning event too.

We visited as part of Open Doors and had a really lovely day. We explored the museum and particularly enjoyed looking at the herb gardens, which weren’t there on our previous visit. The museum is really interesting and we will be back. Highly recommended

went here today for the jubelliparty ,they cancelled the fair rides because it broke down ,there were no stalls are children s activities,are talks ,but nothing children were bored.

We walked round part of the Park with our dog. Lots of interest boards. Nice to see old mills and the waterways. Spotted some egrets flying along waterways. Nice place to learn about industry in the area.

It's like stepping back in time.
All the things you can remember as children, brought to life.
All exhibits are well set out.
Farm animals in pens for the children and squirrels running around.
We stayed for about 2 hours.
The cafe opposite the entrance is a must for home baking and coffee

We didn't go into the museum, but went for a walk around the park. Nice little stroll, we stopped and ate lunch, even shared it with the swans.

Lovely
We went to the park as it was something we hadn't done on our many visits to the area
Well we definitely will be back
The grounds were amazing
Dogs loved it
The cafe was great the dogs even had Thier own menu they had the ice cream and loved it
We had wraps and apple pie which came well presented and yummy
Will definitely be back

Took grandchildren aged 3&6. We had a lovely day, both children enjoyed it, especially the play area. The park was clean, well organised with plenty of seating and a picnic area. Interesting displays.
Would like to give four star but felt it was let down by the parking and signage which were not so good. Would go again though

We paid for tickets to take our 5 year old granddaughter, but when the day arrived it poured with rain from early morning until evening - obviously not the day to visit an adventure play park. On trying to move my booking to another date I was told that the T&Cs state that they don't do that, and I would just have to lose the money. For a small local attraction, I don't think that's the way to get support from local people or repeat business - I certainly won't be risking any more money on the British weather!

Thank you....we bought a voucher from Groupon and went last weekend.....big notice FREE.... Consequently nothing on but a pleasant site to visit.

Hi Susan,
£34 is the price for A Family Season Pass, it covers entry all season for two named adults four kids 3- 16 and three kids under 5 years old.

Hi Vicky E,
A season pass will cost you a meager £34. This will allow you into the Museum throughout our Season to every event, except the Countryside day and the Farm house Christmas.
With over 130 events during the season that equates to 26p per visit for all of you - an absolute Bargain!
If you do decide to buy a Season pass, please agree to the Gift Aid, this costs you nothing and gets us a donation from the Government.
