Beautiful views, fun hike! Lots to explore along the trail and beyond. Heard lots of birds and woodpeckers, but didn’t see many.

Enjoyed the hike and the view. Be careful hiking here as there are many steep areas and exposed roots.

Take it slowly up the steepish walkway and wear stout footwear. Appreciate the views and the wildlife around you. We were all of differing fitness abilities but all made it to the lookout point. Spectacular views from the top. Bit amazed to see a Jeep type vehicle coming down the track as we set off but maybe it was an official ranger.

Enjoyed this hike around may 13-16 2022, and went approximately around 9-10am, weather was not to hot and was about 1.5 KM to the nest, and about 3KM total there and back to the parking lot.. make sure you are observant of the signs on the trees as my group missed the sign stating where the lookout was and ended up walking an extra 20 minutes away from the lookout. Prior to entering the hike the trails are not maintained, otherwise super fun.

Such a wonderful snowy March Break hike up to the gorgeous view at the top of Eagle’s Nest Trail! Very well marked trail and challenging fun for kids and kids-at-heart aged 6 to sixties!😁

Great lookout. Google maps directions are wrong. Trailhead is directly on highway 508. Google maps took us down St Pierre Lake Lane where we got stuck and had to call a tow truck.

You will love this sacred Indigenious Eagles Nest Lookout especially in the Fall - we went in October and it was spectacular with red, yellow and orange fall colours. April's visit was very muddy and wet and the trail is not maintained. Social distancing is tricky so bring a mask for the trail near the bottom of the hill. Dogs and kids will love this walk however, make sure that you all have good walking shoes (no sandles or flip flops) and make sure you have a tread on your shoes. Kids younger than 8 may have a problem walking up hill. The view is not safe for young kids to perch on the edge so please don't give other visitors like me a heart attack by standing too close to the edge! A selfie is not worth falling off the edge!

Out for couple hours with girlfriends. Excellent stretch of our legs after day of driving. Main trail was hard but melting. Not slippy. We stopped to watch rock climbers at Eagles Nest. Incredible spot and views. Took plan less traveled along ridge on way back. Much more narrow. And there were some serious icy sections that took a lot of care traversing. Well worth visiting. Parking was full and a lot of cars up the road. Still worth it.

I visited this place last summer.
It was nice, the down fall was, not enough parking space. I have seen 3 cars went to the ditch during that few hours that I was there.

This is a short hike on an old logging road, so it is pretty easy going until you get to the uphill climb to the look-out. The view is grand, particularly with the vibrant fall colours. Very nice!
However, be warned: This is a hugely popular trail and parking is limited. When we were there, dozens of cars were parked along the narrow shoulders of the road. You may also want to bring a mask because it can get crowded at peak times.
