‪We loved this. Our guide, Angel, was terrific. I loved hearing about the importance of the ceremony. The music was excellent. We loved that we participated in making the chocolate drink. It was so fun.‬

‪Excellent chocolate tour and tasting‬

‪The Mindo chocolate tour was an educational and fun experience. Not only did we get to try cacao and chocolate at various stages of its preparation, we got to learn about growing the cacao and enjoy some of the fruits grown on the property as well. We really liked trying some of the unique flavors, such as salt and pepper and ginger!‬

‪Leuke chocolade proeverij, interessante rondleiding. Kost 10 dollar pp. Aan het einde mag je zoveel chocolade eten als je maar wil:)‬

‪Excellent experience!‬

‪Just a wonderful experience, a very nice hour spent with everything that's chocolate. You learn about how cocoa beans are grown, fermented, dried, how chocolate is made, etc etc, whilst also can have a look at some other plants grown in the gardens.
Once you are finished with the tour, you get to taste a LOT of chocolate products made locally, all of them are of excellent quality. You also get to buy anything you tasted afterwards in the little shop inside. Fully recommended if you like chocolate, definitely a must do if you are in Mindo! Thank you!‬

‪En stor oplevelse.‬
‪Vi kom, fordi jeg rigtig gerne ville se, hvordan kakaotræer ser ud. Det blev indfriet, og vi fik set både kaffetræer og macademianødder også. En rundtur kostede $10, hvilket måske umiddelbart lyder lidt til den dyre side. Men vi fik masser af oplevelser OG chokolade for pengene.
Imponerede over deres fremstilling og smagsprøver.
Nu har vi meget større forståelse for, hvorfor god kvalitetschokolade ikke er billigt.
Faktisk kom vi igen for at få kaffe og brownie. Kaffen får man ikke hjertebanken af, men deres chokoladekager er lækre.
Kan så absolut anbefale at besøge stedet.

‪Charming experience for those who love chocolate.‬

‪We did the one hour tour as a family of four. Sergio was wonderfully friendly enthusiastic and informative. He was very kind and lovely to our children.

He showed us the ingredients of chocolate, we were able to taste the fruit and then the products at various stages. We then looked at where the fruit is grown, dried and processed. The garden was beautiful and worth seeing in its own right. We then ended by trying the various chocolates, and enjoyed tea and a brownie (best I have ever had). I would highly recommend this tour and great value at $10 per adult and $6 for each child.‬

‪Superb chocolate tour‬
‪The comprehensive tour introduces the whole process of the chocolate making from the beginning to the end. Very professional and informative! Two highlights: the big variety of tropical plants in the garden and the tasting experience. Sergio: you are so passionate and professional! Thanks a lot!‬

‪Super leuke tour. Gewoonlijk zijn wij hier niet van maar Sergio was een fantastische gids, het was informatief en lekker.‬
‪Wij houden meestal niet van dit soort toeristische tours. Maar deze was echt de moeite waard. Wij hadden Sergio als onze enthousiaste gids. Hij heeft ons veel geleerd over chocolade productie. En we hebben heerlijk kunnen proeven en ervaren met verschillende soorten chocolade. Echt een aanrader.‬

‪ERA uno de mis lugares favoritos pero en mi última visita, nos encontramos con que tienen una nueva política NO mascotas (incluso en las mesas externas y sin clientes en todo el restaurante). Para quienes no conozcan, Mindo es un lugar de turismo de aventura y mucha naturaleza, los viajes con animales de compañía son comunes en lugares de esta naturaleza.‬
