5 euro per Person for the zipline per person with 3 possible walks to waterfalls. At the 30 min trail, a small cabane is available for changing before swimmibg ( banks and rood). There are cords drawn to have à safe pool experience .

Eine Reise, die ist lustig und die mit der Tarabita erst recht. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall und eigentlich geht sie viel zu schnell. Ein Must have!

We got a taxi right to the top by the cable car - that was a long ride from the Center of Mondo .
Cable car was rickety but good fun .
Over the other side there are clear signs to the waterfalls . I had my own trek pole - so glad I did but they also have sticks to borrow . Def need sturdy shoes .
Waterfalls are beautiful. In April there is so much rain in Mindo so can’t go in the river .
Great activity for 2 hours .

Hermosa experiencia.
Existen varias rutas, por las que llegar a diferentes cascadas.
Todas hermosas.
Llevar zapatos actos para el senderismo y no dejen de meterse en las cascadas.

Don’t believe the times they claim it’ll take. But I am out of shape like. Some parts felt dangerous. Definitely take the walking stick they offer. We wore regular shoes (Nike Pegasus trail and new balance train running) but we got our feet soaked. I think they offer rain boots, but I wouldn’t have felt comfortable in them. We did the second route to cascada de reina. They said it would take 50 min each way. It took me 1.5 hr each way. I’m also not into nature THAT much but, you know, YOLO. We didn’t see any cool birds or mammals, but then again, I spent my time looking at the floor so I wouldn’t trip. I also forgot a water bottle. There’s a bathroom and restaurant at the start of the hike. Take toilet paper, just in case. Saw the waterfall and thought ‘eh, looks nice I guess’.

Weather can make a difference to what you make of this. Somewhat cloudy and then rainy on the way back, which probably made me give this more of an average review. The cable car trip is relatively brief but the canopy below and the nearby hills covered in fine greenery do look very nice. We were on an organised tour so only went to one waterfall. It was a reasonable distance to trek down with a mix of stones, mud and some steps of varying size. Recommend to use one of their sticks they offer. Made a difference for stability. Took about 20 mins at a slow pace as a group. The waterfall is not that big and wasn’t overly impressed. If you make a day of it and walk to the others then it might be better for you. We then came back up. Not much to see along the path. Was hoping for views or some animals and insects but nothing really. Still very nice to be in part of the lush Ecuadorean rain forest. A small cafe on the other side of the cable car for a drink and toilets. Also toilets the other side. We had cars to take us up to the cable car. The road up is a bit of a walk if you don’t use them.

$5 for a short , 500 metres, return trip across the forest top to access the waterfalls walks. The start point for three walks to different valleys to see various waterfalls. Twenty minutes each way to see one waterfall, 50 minutes each way to see the single largest one or in another direction anything from 45 minutes each way for 3 waterfalls or one hour for 5. Or spend the day and do all routes. The walk is steep in parts, often uneven, not too difficult but do not expect easy pathways.
You can get here from your hotel by walking, nearly one hour, or by taxi. Or take the scenic separate 15 mi-nute Telerifico cable chair ride up the mountain. Then it's just a short 5 minute walk to Tarabita to get that ride across and access the waterfalls.

The first thing I am going to say is that I am terrified of heights!
We drove up to the Tarabita up the jungle trail, it was awesome, you really feel like you're out in the jungle. We had a 4x4 but I think you could make it up there in almost anything, the track is pretty good.
When you get to the cable car station you are kind of reminded that not everything is super polished here. It's pretty Heath Robinson! You can see the guy operating the cable car for the shed on the mountain side, it's set up with a car engine and foot pedals etc.
The guys operating the cable car are super nice, very reassuring! As you climb the small platform over looking the forest and valley below you can see how small the cage is. Once it starts it really belts along over the valley, not slow like a traditional cable car. My wife took some awesome pictures.
Once you get to the other side there is a decent map showing you where all the waterfalls are. really easy to follow and trails are safe with plenty of hand rails etc too. The waterfalls we saw were great, surprisingly wam too.
Great day out for all the family.

We were a group of sixteen travelers from Canada, and had an exhilarating experience in taking the Tarabita cable car over the rain forest. As well as gliding over the forest, we were able to stop for a few minutes and take photos of the superb aerial views below. Beautiful region, with stunning landscape.

We went with our 2 teens and 7 year old. It was very exciting and picturesque there's there's a small place for food and drinks on the other side. We hiked down 20 minutes to a beautiful waterfall which is on route 1.
