‪A beautiful beach‬

‪A nice easy walk from one end of the beach to the other. The scenery is gorgeous, the ocean is cold, at least to my liking. Late evening or early morning are the best times to walk.‬

‪The paved walk to Cathedral Cove was easy and was filed with stunning views. Try to get there when the tide is low so you can walk through - but either way, even if you get there during high tide, the short walk is worth it once you witness the cove and the adjacent beach.‬

‪Nice wee river at the south end to walk along as well. Caught boat to Cathedral Cave from the beach which I thoroughly recommend.‬

‪What a lovely beach, we were lucky on a windless, blue sky day and it was just lovely. Clean toilets along the way also. Could imagine this gets crazy busy over summer.‬

‪Gorgeous Beach (one of my favs in NZ!)‬

‪Absolutely adore this wonderful stretch to f beach in the coromandel. Lovely golden sand, views out across the ocean. Total picture postcard stuff. We parked our campervan backing onto the water view and just spent hours soaking it all up. Well worth a visit if your in the area.
I think you can also get the water taxi to Cathedral Cove form there.‬
