Built in 1793 by Fray Manuel Moreno to replace the original 1706 mission church, it is one of the oldest buildings in the city. This impressive adobe church dates back to the Spanish colonial period but today presents a conflux of architectural styles. Inside, the church is somewhat plain, but still maintains a reverential, solemn presence. Ancillary buildings on site include the Rectory, Our Lady of the Angels School and Sister Blandina Convent. There’s an impressive garden here complete with a painting of the Virgin de Guadalupe, carved into a tree trunk.

This church is a must see when visiting Alburquerque. Don't miss the painting in the tree in front of the church that was painted by a church member. It's beautiful. The gift shop has lots of nice items and the prices are great. I attended mass on Saturday and the music was amazing.

As one of the oldest buildings in the city and the only one proven to date from the Spanish colonial period, this church is definitely worth inspecting. Take particular note of the combination of architectural styles which demonstrate the various improvements and reconstructions -- Victorian and Gothic motifs embellish the traditional adobe structure, inside and out. A large gift shop at the entrance contains a wide variety of Catholic miscellanies.

San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church is located on the north side of old town plaza, filling the entire north side. It still has services and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was built in 1793 and is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the city and the only building in Old Town proven to date to the Spanish colonial period. A grand place to visit, even if you are not a Catholic. Be sure to stop in at the gift shop and museum. Profits from there help support the parish work.

This church is beautiful especially with the backdrop of the plaza. It’s a very plain and simple church. I’m thankful we went during Christmas because they had their nativity set up and a couple of extra displays.

We've visited this fabulous church before, but unfortunately, it was closed to the public the entire week of our visit this time (not sure why). So our friends were unable to see the interior, which is a must-see. Old Town is still well worth a visit, just not quite the same if you can't go inside the church.

The church building and grounds occupy one whole side of the square in Old Town and give it much of its character. Without the Church, the square would be purely commercial. It is impossible to walk past the Church without taking a picture of it, especially on a sunny day. It has a soft elegance, and the tan and white stand out vividly against a blue sky.

A lovely church with a rich history. Morning bells are so welcoming. The glow at night is peaceful. I enjoyed the early morning view from my AirBnB.

What a phenomenal experience. The church and courtyard was amazing and the gift shop had so much to offer. A must see when you visit Albuquerque.

This is a very simple church but very fun to explore. No charge but accept donations. Can take 30 mins to an hour depending on how much time you want to spend,
Very nice gift shop with many great tokens that are affordable. The little museum was simple and elegant.
They hold 4 masses on Sunday which is very cool. If exploring old town recommend a stop.

Hello, we are planning a trip to Clearwater July. I would like to know if there is weight restrictions and if it is necessary do you give assisted tours (meaning the person ride behind one of your experienced riders).
