‪فندق صغير ودود الزائر الحرم الجامعي ولكن ليس مثل جامعة في مدينة كبيرة مزدحمة جدا، موقع ملائم إلى إلى بروفيدنس وسط المدينة. ونحن نشارك معلومات الدورة مريحة الحرم الجامعي مكتب الجولات السياحية في فصل الصيف، زيارة بعض مناطق الجذب السياحي في المدينة، على بعد مسافة سير. إنها تجربة جيدة جداً من زيارة مدرسة جيدة لعائلة عطلة قصيرة أيضا.‬

‪Stunning architecture spanning four centuries!!‬

‪Our visit to the Brown University campus was quite enjoyable. We love architecture and college campuses have long attracted some of the best architects of their day! Brown has buildings dating back to the 1800s and even to the late 1700s as well as 20th century modern buildings by Philip Johnson. The story of Carrie Tower is touching. The Venetian-Gothic style of Robinson Hall is not to be missed. Manning Chapel is a wonderful example of classical design. The Rock (aka John D. Rockefeller Jr. Library) is a nice Brutalist architecture example. Philip Johnson's two works--10 years apart--reflect his changing style of architecture. Great to see students returning to the campus for the fall semester. What an atmosphere!‬

‪I would not go to Brown unless one was visiting as a potential student, or visiting friends. It is a pretty campus! There are some very beautiful buildings, but it is all spread out, and a long walk from place to place. There is a main area, Thayer Street, where one can buy a wide myriad of things, and eat at a large variety of places.‬

‪Lovely campus worth the visit!‬

‪When walking through the area just go in through this campus and there’s lots to see! We used to come here to the lawn too and read a book when the weather was nice out. Then we would grab a meal nearby for dinner at Thayer street. Lots of nice and friendly students too. Don’t miss the famous gates of Brown where there’ll be a great photo op.‬

‪Brown University has an amazing staff, the summer program that they have for kids is great! The location is amazing as well as the campus itself. I was very pleased to see the amount of security for the campus.‬

‪Brown is on a beautiful campus. There are a few “yard” areas once inside the gates which are generally open. It makes for a pleasant walk at this well known Ivy.‬
