‪Went on a Tuesday on "discount day" rented a private shooting bay with my family, had a real nice time, I've never had any issues or disrespect from the counter staff or the range officers, I noticed a range officer observing from a distance. Their JOB is to make sure the Shooters are following Basic shooting rules to keep shooters safe .so you can't get all offended when you are corrected, there is So much liability involved in keeping a gun range open and legal. If your too sensitive to take direction and comply with range rules perhaps you should take up tennis‬

‪Went here to shoot and it wasn’t until I was 45 min in and some cross eyed RSO walks over to me and demands I show him my tax stamps so he can match my S# up to my paperwork and that I was supposed to check them in at the office. That “policy” isnt posted anywhere and of the dozen or so times Ive been there, shooting with NFA items, no one has ever said a word to me. Its +100f and the last thing I am going to do is hand over TAX documents to some nobody minimum wage range babysitter, especially when that policy isn’t written anywhere. He kept getting snotty with me and told me to leave the range. I tell the front desk to keep my membershit card because I refuse to do business with a company that harasses members over tax paperwork. If they could produce an ATF agent, by all means, Ill show them what I need to for them to fk off. If they could produce a friggin IRS agent, being a TAX stamp is TAX information, Id laugh yet still produce my paperwork so they can fk off (even if thats not a legitimate request from them). But some fudd RSO? Kick rocks, neckbeard. I really try to support gun ranges, especially ones that are going to inevitably be forced out of the area by land developers, but I refuse to support some bs like that. Ill get a good laugh the day that range is bulldozed to make some apartment buildings. ‬

‪I really don't know what the other raters are talking about, the counter help was polite helpful, I guess some people are too sensitive, their prices are clearly posted on their website, the young man at the counter was friendly and smiling. I have been to this range when visited my brother for3 or 4 years. now that i have recently moved here this is my go to gun range, . The other shooters mostly follow the rules, I saw a range officer get on a novice shooter for unsafe behavior, I imagine it was a little embarrassing. for the shooter, But the range officer is there for all our safety‬

‪Rude staff‬

‪This is the closest range to me unfortunately. The guy who runs the register is a total asshat and extremely rude for no apparent reason. I’ve been here quite a few times over the past two years and it’s the same every time. They are especially rude if you have a suppressor and don’t “check it in” with them at the counter. Anyone with a can understands that you have to have your stamp with you. It would be one thing if it was an actual range rule but it’s not posted ANYWHERE in the office or on any sign on the property. I would not recommend this range unless they got rid of the grumpy old boomer who runs the counter. Prices are ok.‬

‪Terrible counter/customer service at check-in counter. GET SOME HELP! Used to be a GREAT place when “The Lady/Owner” properly managed this range. Unfortunately, it’s gone “downhill” for quite a while now.

I’ve been coming to this range since I was 12, and was always happy to have a great staff and customer service. Not the case anymore. Terrible!‬

‪good range, bad experience with staff‬

‪I shoot here a lot. I love the private bays and that's what keeps me coming back, but the staff is very short and rude. The website has little info and says "Call us for current info," but when you do, they are not helpful and don't seem like they want to answer questions. I called on a Wednesday, which I assume wouldn't be too busy, to talk to someone about a possible reservation for the weekend because I had a disabled shooter coming and needed some info. After I asked my initial question about reservations the person on the phone said "We don't ever take reservations." Then before I could even ask about accommodations he hung up on me.
If you want a good cheap place to shoot in a private bay, this place is great. If you want good customer service or friendly people stay away.

As an aside, places like this that treat new shooters or like this only weaken the community and help feed the stereotype about gun owners that is pushed by the anti gun lobby.‬

‪Great for target shooting‬

‪I have never had a problem at the Bullet Hole, I do have friends who have told me stories but in the many years I have gone nothing out of the ordinary has ever happened. I normally bring my family here to shoot at the 100 yard and hand gun range with no problems.

The range is run with time limits so that others who come to the range can go hang their targets and make ready their equipment which can take some time and be a eternity for the impatient but for me not a problem.

Once in awhile the range stewards can be a little over the top but I often ignore their lack of etiquette and believe they are just trying to assert their authority on the range to make a safer atmosphere, like police officers do from time to time.‬
