So, when Movico opened this theater it was state of art. AMC took over and frankly let it go downhill. BUT, things are changing, new comfortable recliner seats with heat. New flooring going in, new walls, new paint. Still a work in progress but a B+ for plan and effort. Sadly AMC Dine In is gone.

Comfortable cloth seats, the largest theaters have the best sound quality, not really great in the small ones. Large, spacious, many screens, clean.

This theater smells, carpet is filthy and seats are uncomfortable. I do not recommend this theater if you have to pay for it. I have the membership and its the closest to me so its by default i go to this one.

A lot of the movie theaters nowadays have reclining seats and more room to wiggle but this one is still old school - it doesn’t offer any of those. So I will watch movies in Camarillo Edwards or Roxy cuz I want comfort and sometimes they offer better deals like on sundays, movies are only $6 all day at Edwards. The only thing interesting was a replica of iron man and some other figurines.

This is a perfectly fine theater for watching movies as a family or even for date night. There is a balcony section that serves food and a lower section where you can send the kids to watch "on their own."

We used to go to this movie theater all the time. But as of right now the seats are so uncomfortable. Hopefully the theater will get a remodel and up date the seating to reclining chairs. We now go to the Fallbrook Mall movie theater just for the reclining chairs.

I live this movie theatre! My family and I see movies at the AMC Dine - IN Thousand Oaks 14 many times a year!

AMC took over for Muvico a few months ago..it's pretty much the same, with a few improvements and some more, need to improve....
they have changed the restaurant upstairs....the soda machines and butter stations are serve yourself....i always like those....the chairs could use an upgrade...they were never the most comfortable...the spot they need to really improve on is the cleanliness...it was much cleaner as a Muvico. Now, it feels like it's just getting run down...they need to clean it up to make it a really nice movie theater...

Very weird set up here. The premium seats are $14 and the seats resin thew balcony waaaaaaayyyyy far away from the screen. How is the server supposed to get to your seat? I returned my ticket and the cheaper $11 seat for a much better view of the screen. That was a hassle too, all I wanted was to sit in the lower section but they had to refund the money, I had to pick a new seat, etc.... Why do you need to select a seat anyways?
