I prefer a self guided tour, which allows me the prerogative of going at my own pace; stopping longer here to take pictures, omitting or quickly moving through this part, etc. The problem with going to the Battleship was the bus schedule, which you have to take, since they don't allow personally owned vehicles on the base,(unless you ARE military and have credentials, I believe). We bought the Go Oahu card, which saved us a ton of money, and did all three at the Nat'l Park; the USS Arizona, the Battleship Missouri, and the Bowfin Submarine. In fact, I don't think I saw one tour the whole time we were there. There are volunteers on hand ( former Navy personnel) to give talks and answer questions, and who provide history. Catch the shuttle bus and take the 5 minute ride over from the Arizona.

Yes, you can take an Uber ride there. You can either buy tickets there at the location, or you can buy them off of their website. Prices are $34.99/adult or $17.49/child. Since you have a larger group, you may want to purchase them in advance. As the previous answer noted, you would have to take a bus ride over to Ford Island from the main entrance. They have personnel there to help guide you where the bus is located and when it leaves. The bus ride last only about 5 minutes or so.

There is a complimentary shuttle that takes guests from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center (where both the USS Arizona Memorial and Bowfin Submarine Museum and Park are located) to the Battleship Missouri!

Hi, we paid 64usd for everything,Arizona memorial,missouri,and the air museum really enjoyed it. We took the purple line trolley bus drop you of 100mts away its a full day to do it all if you miss the last trolley bus back about 4.15pm stay at the bus stop and get bus nbr, 42 takes you full length of Waikiki 2.75usd each have correct money tho. Hi you must park out in front and than take a bus over to Ford Island to see the Battleship and air museum. Best to visit during the week since weekends get really busy Have a great time

Hi Dave. We booked that trip with our Flight Center here in Aust. But you can book through your Hotel Concierge. You can get the regular bus. I would recommend Roberts Hawaii. Had an awesome tour with them. Because we booked at home we were with another tour company which i wont recommend.

For the web site for the battleship, google battleship missouri. It will tell you about tickets and tours. You need to allow enough time to get from the Arizona visitors center on a shuttle bus to the battleship site. We did the Heart of the Missouri tour and it was excellent. That tour is a timed ticket extra from the regular admission.

Hello! We went to Pearl Harbor from Waikiki Beach at $45 by "Charlie's Taxi" about 30min on Sunday morning. I think you don't have to join tour, you can borrow audio guide headset in 5 languages. Of course, you can go by the BUS, it takes double times the taxi. We went back to Waikiki by the BUS, after waiting about 20min.
