This is a lovely place to spend an hour or two, with a wonderful butterfly exhibit and a lot of gorgeous greenery. There are a bunch of adorable miniatures (trains, various buildings, etc.) amid the greenery. The admissions fee is very reasonable and the staff are super friendly. Definitely worth a visit!

Added this to our vacation last minute. My 6 year old loved seeing the butterflies. There were so many varieties. Definitely worth a stop.

Very nice Conservatory. It is nice when they hold events. I enjoy seeing all the beautiful flowers and plants. Affordable. Clean and relaxing environment.

Very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours, especially when special displays like Christmas or butterflies are happening. Easy to park. Easy to get around inside. Spectacular plant displays. Especially note the orchids. Cheap admission.

The Conservatory was fine, but I was disturbed by this weird Nativity Scene, which is adjacent if not associated with the Conservatory. This depressed looking donkey and cow are being kept in a very small space. I did not see anywhere for them to turn out, and based on the posted hours, they are being kept in these dark pens for at least 12 hours a day. Why use fake humans, while exploiting live animals? This is cruel.

Animals in nativity scene, outside of the sheep, had absolutely no room. Disgusted. Donkey and cow have enough room to stand and lay—that’s it.

This place is awesome, My favorite time is to visit during the annual holiday displays. They have trains running and building unique to Cincinnati made from nature materials. Its decorated for the Holiday Season. Its just beautiful.
Other great times are Easter and the butterfly shows.
Great place for couples, families, kids or on a date.

First time back after 30 years and little has changed lol Except the desert area is ironic to see now since i now live in a desert in Arizona. Overall still very nice and especially love the waterfall jungle middle area of the conservatory. Many of the rooms can get very warm though so be forewarned of that part. Overall very nicely kept up and worth visiting when in the beautiful Eden Park area.

What a lovely place to bring the kids at Christmas! My grandsons, of course, loved running up and down the wheelchair ramp, but once they saw the trains they were mesmerized especially those that ran over their heads. It is beautifully decorated during the holidays so much so I would be happy to make it a tradition.

Lot of flowers to see here. A beautiful waterfall inside with some fish in the pond below. There was a prism exhibit when we visited and it was interesting. It only cost $10 to enter, so it's a bargain.

Not to my knowledge. We were there last weekend and it was $10 across the board for all five of us. My oldest was in town and there was No veteran or Active Military discounts (we asked). We had one senior in the group and I believe they paid full price as well. We still had a good time though.
Can you use a debit card to pay admission?

How long does it take to visit the conservatory. Is it an all day activity or can you enjoy it in a few hours? I am trying to plan my visit along with other activities.

An hour is plenty. I had expected a much larger place. What they have is nice....just not big.
Are service dogs able to go into the butterfly exibit with their handler?

I am not sure. But would think as long as they are not butterfly-eating service dogs it would be fine. The staff at Krohns are very accommodating.

There is a vending machine with a few options, but other than that, there isn't anything to eat. It's really not a "park" per se...rather it's an inside arboretum with lots of wonderful plants and displays. Plan to eat before or after your visit, but be sure to stop in...well worth it! There are plenty of places to eat in the vicinity so you won't be hungry long!

I have not seen any for rent or noticed accessibility issues into the Various rooms. The entry level area would be fine, but there could be a problem with the area just beyond. The rest of the conservatory should be fine and worth the trip!
