In Stourbridge fit one night only, I took the dogs out for a walk/pint and stumbled on this pub. Great beers. Great proper pub decor. Busy with friendly locals. Reasonable price fit a pint. Recommended.

We visited this pub last night for a 60th birthday party in it's upstairs function room. I had not been there before, although some of our men had. What a quaint little pub and so atmospheric. As for the evening in it's function room ... the room was very intimate with an upstairs bar and adequate for a party of our size. The pub had done the catering and I have to say it was excellent and the buffet was plentiful for our needs. Well done. The bar man assigned to our party was very obliging and pleasant. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable night. Thank you Duke William for making our friend's 60th a special evening.

Only way I can honestly describe this place is a classic proper boozer great home made Ale faultless. Definitely worth a visit

What else to say really, in a nutshell this place has what a lot of regular pubs don't. Atmosphere and quirky old fashioned style with hop garlands hanging from walls doors and ceilings. Woodwork and bar must be original and look fantastic, bit like walking onto the set of peaky blinders!
The beers are hand crafted on site, we tried three different ones and they were all excellent. Staff friendly and can talk you through the range as well.

Superb pub, very friendly staff, choice of several of their own “ Craddocks” beers. Nice sheltered beer garden at rear. Well worth a detour. 4 pint takeaways available

Great choice of ales and a friendly atmosphere
Social distancing was the order of the day and table service was efficient and effective.
I was only visiting Stourbridge overnight, but was glad the Duke William was the pub of choice.

Went in there for a drink with friends only to be told to split up because there was 6 of us and to go upstairs, I don't think they like large numbers going in so when we said very politely we would go somewhere else we were greeted with ( we are all d""k heads ) when we really hadn't done anything wrong. So I wouldn't even give it one star at the moment, I hope things change for the sake of a good pub

This was the third pub on the Cheltenham CAMRA ale amble around Stourbridge, a pub specialising in Craddock's ales but with a few others on tap too. A very smart interior; friendly efficient staff; and a wide range of food, especially pies.
Certainly well worth a visit.

Been in occasionally good selection of Beers and Ciders a Traditional look of an old school pub . Nice log fire keeping it cosy in the front Bar had food on this occasion a Minster pie range and other favourites like Lamb shanks served with Mash and minted peas. Pork pies are nice too
