Really disappointed. Last Saturday a group of our good friends got to together for a long needed catch up. One of our friends who had only had 2 drinks fell up up a un marked step to the garden area. As she went to the toilet to sort herself out, The manager followed her in and said "are you s*** faced" No apology, No are you OK! Then we found out she called the sister pub also expecting us to cause trouble? We are a group of professional people not drunken idiots. Unfortunately won't be going In there again. Prejudging people looses alot of business and recommendations. I would look at who you choose to Manage your public house as she is totally unprofessional..

I have been using The Swan for several years. The Landlord Geoff provides a warm welcome. He has not been well recently but is often sitting at the bar in the lounge with a favourite whiskey of which there is a wonderful selection. I know of nowhere else that sells whiskey as cheap. The Malts are the best buy.
Geoff has ordered an internet Jukebox which he says will play any music that is requested. Five plays for a pound.
There are always three real ales on draught and a good selection of ciders and lagers. Ales are £3. Cobs are usually available and again well priced.
There is a large beer garden to the rear which gets the sun all day and is comfortable with many plant pots and baskets.
Staff are friendly and helpful. The regulars in the bar enjoy themselves and maybe singing along to the Juke box. I will be meaning to try out the new one over Christmas.

Been to this pub a few times now & it always been a pleasure good selection of beers & spirits at cheap prices ,excellent beer garden ,friendly staff well worth visting also has a juke box so get yourself down there you won't be disappointed !

after not getting a restaurant to cater for 30 people,we booked the Swan. we got a dj, buffet and chicken curry and rice the whole bottom floor, which included the bar area also the chillout room and rear garden to use at our pleasure.
we were made to feel quite welcome at entering the premises and bar staff were really polite. they catered for our every needs
would highly "recommend" anyone who was thinking about booking a really smart venue to look nowhere else.the older guys were quite happy the children could run around freely..( ps chicken curry 5*) the buffet was delicious and not the usual cheese/pinapple on sticks

This is a funky pub with a cool garden area where you can put your feet up and relax with your alcoholic beverage!

Been here for a few different parties and also for a few nights out, lovely decor, great music and reasonable drinks prices.
Popular night spot for those up for a bit of noise.

If its an old fashioned traditional pub you are looking for. Look no further. Not many of these venues left now. Its a treasure. Always warm & friendly with a great selection of real ales, lagers, ciders & spirits. Been coming here for 30 years & wish I could do it for another 30. Lovely beer garden if the weather permits.
