One of my best spa experience ever. On the pricier side but totally worth the money for the ambiance and hospitality. No hard sell!
Done a 60min massage session before the day of departure and I regret finding out this spa towards the end of the trip. Couldn’t find time to slot in another session. Special thanks to Janice for making my short session a relaxing one I feel so unwind after the session.

New Year New Look Package
Great service by Helen.
For half the price would say it is one of my best spa experience. Booking through emailed the friendly staff send the spa menu through email. Very efficient.
The spa villa is clean and well maintain. They have superb promo for 2022 opening

Chi the spa at Rasa Sayang, Penang has been an out of this world experience. From the moment you stepped in, to the moment of departure, it has been a magical experience. Joey the therapist made effort to engage me with friendly conversation. Her public relations skills and massage skills were rejuvenating and refreshing. Usual spa experiences were awkward and dull, but she made it fun. Her professionalism is remarkable and I can't wait for another session with Joey soon. Chi the Spa is indeed representing the brand Shangri-la greatly, with its excellent service.

We were at Gurney Plaza and saw Chi doing promotions during the CMCO period, so we bought a few vouchers. With the new norm, there are SOP in place, perhaps the list of questionnaire during registration was a bit too much. Couples are not allowed to be in a room and separate rooms are required. The therapist wore gloves during the entire treatment. I enjoyed the massage service which was really relaxing, and everything was good and fuss free.

This spa is all about Chi , total relaxation in a beautiful environment.

Komen al 9 jaar in de Chi en altijd tot volle tevredenheid. Dit jaar alle behandelingen zwaar gedown grated. Geen intake bij binnenkomst (ook wij kunnen veranderen ook al komen we hier al een aantal jaren). Er was geen voetbad want dat doen ze niet meer en massage was redelijk tot eigenlijk waardeloos. De masseuse van mijn man stopte elke keer met masseren en mijn masseur werkte of hij de bus nog moest halen. Heel gehaast en totaal geen ontspanning. Wij komen hier niet meer, zeker voor het geld wat je ervoor moet betalen. 50 meter verderop op het strand wordt beter gemasseerd.

Absolutely fantastic - the spa is stunning, the service is professional, warm and inviting, and the quality of the massage was outstanding. I asked for a firm massage to help sort out my aching back and neck, and the masseuse Ellen really delivered! Highly recommended.

È il lussuoso centro benessere dello Shangri La Penang. La struttura si trova nel mezzo del curatissimo giardino dell’hotel ed è costituita da un grande edificio centrale dove si viene accolti e da una serie di piccoli cottages che ospitano le suites dove si praticano i trattamenti. Durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo provato un massaggio tradizionale malese ed uno rilassante, entrambi eseguiti con estrema professionalità. Un luogo dove trascorrere indimenticabili momenti di piacere e rilassamento. Nell’edificio centrale c’è anche un elegante boutique con prodotti per il benessere e abbigliamento. Prezzi in generale medio alti.

What a wonderful 2 hrs having facial and a massage. So very professional, beautiful surroundings peaceful and calming. The girls were excellent. A little bit pricey but sometimes it doesn’t matter if they make you feel great. If I ever come back I’ll certainly go back.

The therapist I had was Rose. Her skills is good. Very serene environment, solid wood furniture, flooring, spacious (reception and private room, garden and etc), surrounded by tropical trees and plants. The essential oil is not only used for massage but also spray on the towel used. Customer will have own suite and private garden with bathtub. Well, for all the good environment and service that truly supports the 'spirit' of SPA, it is pricey too. Suggest you check on the promotion deals
