‪Interesting old cathedral, dripping with history. A nice "cafe" downstairs in the crypt, and also a lovely walled garden with benches, perfect to enjoy a coffee or a snack on a warm, pleasant day.‬

‪Splendid cathedral!‬

‪What a beautiful cathedral! Enter from the main door into the long nave, admire the magnificent organ with over 3000 pipes, look at stained glass windows, memorials, gravestones, columns, arches, and statues from 14 centuries of history, and don't miss the nice crypt, the wheel of fortune, and the impressive loooooong oak table.

And talk to the helpful volunteers to learn more about it!‬

‪A stunning ancient Cathedral‬

‪England's second oldest Cathedral, being founded in 604AD. A stunning places, with lovely stained glass windows, and the amazing black oak table, made from a 5000 year old tree. When we were there, there was the exhibition of the paper doves, which was beautiful to see .‬

‪Everything about this place is delightful‬

‪This is a stunningly beautiful place - it’s light and very welcoming. The person who greeted us at the door was charming as were the volunteer brass cleaners that we met. The refectory dinning is worth a look. Interesting activities- Fen table and peace paper doves. People delightful‬

‪Warm and welcoming, a beautiful historical building and place of worship. The art installations were captivating, from the Doves of Peace to the 'Coronaquilt'. We had lunch in The Crypt cafe, the sandwiches were freshly made and the volunteers were so friendly. The whole cathedral had a very special atmosphere.‬

‪Rochester has helpful and informative docents.
It is a historic cathedral. There is much to see and learn.

The great black oak tree table is well worth seeing.‬

‪So many additional events during the whole year. Highly recommended. It is a local gem and situated right next to Rochester Castle and a lovely historical high street.‬
