My best friend and I decided to do some wine tasting with our wives. After a singularly disappointing experience at another winery, we needed a positive visit. We got that and much more at C.C. Jentsch. Our first impression started with Michael, our host. His sense of humor is great, and he is very knowledgeable about wine in general as well as his products. He took us on a journey through their various wines, giving us a capsule explanation of each. And before he let us taste their signature Small Lot Cabernet Sauvignon, he taught us the proper way to taste wine. The experience was outstanding, their Cab Sauv is fantastic.! We only live about 15 minutes away, and we will be coming back for more! The other wine that I really enjoyed was their Merlot, which would pair nicely with a delicious grilled steak, although all of their wines are very tasty!

Wine tasting aside, you would look far and wide to find a better red than The Chase from C C Jentsch. Inquired about joining their wine club but it appears they have a waiting list. Enough said.

Wir hatten viel Spaß bei unserer Weinprobe im Weinkeller von C.C.Jentsch. Unser Host erzählte kleine Geschichten zum Wein uns wurde jedem unserer Gruppe nach seiner Vorliebe der Weinsorten gerecht. Ich würde einen Besuch dort jederzeit wiederholen.

Our wine docent had a great sense of humor and gave us a great overview of each wine. we bought Blanc De Noir 2018, Quest 2017, Chardonnay 2018 and the Viognier 2016. The wine tasting was quite the overview of wines. thank goodness it was our last one and we were close to home.

We drop by each year in hopes that Larry will be manning the tasting room. He is as knowledgable as he is personable. There is no pretentiousness here, just solid information about each of the wines CC Jentsch offers.
Good wines here as well.
The location makes for easy access, and it is all about the wines, there is no restaurant, but Hester Creek Winery does, and it just a few kilometres north.

Right on hwy. 97 between Oliver and Osoyoos, this winery offered some good quality wines. But the main reason for the rating was the person who conducted the tasting, Michael. He was so knowledgeable and truly enhanced our experience. Loved “The Chase”. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Decades ago I followed the beginnings of first class syrah in California through the efforts of Qupe and Ojai. I also had the rare opportunity to sample syrahs from Sion in Switzerland and was knocked out by their quality and taste profiles. Finding world class syrahs has become a passion that I joyfully pursue. I have delighted in the Jentsch 2013 several times. Its meaty, well extracted yet fruit driven essence suggests it belongs in the upper pantheon of red wines. While I may profess that it lacks the ultimate finesse of an Ojai Roll Ranch, what it delivers it chewy and grape driven. My tasting room experience underscored its authenticity: our host was an experienced viticulturalist in stark contrast to the youthfully exuberant employees that host many Okanagan venues.

It is a large compliment to be compared alongside the worlds Syrahs. Michael at the wineshop is an Okanagan treasure . I am lucky to have him there. Chris Jentsch

the best wine experience I've ever had. being from the okanagan I've had my fair share of winery experinces. and cc Jentsch top my list by far. I would recommend to anyone without hesitation to go there. amazing wine, lovely staff, just overall phenomenal. thank you cc Jentsch for the wonderful experience. can't wait to go back!!!

While visiting another winery, they strongly suggested us to visit CC Jentsch since they recently won an award for they Syrah . Since it was just their neighbours, we decided to stop . Their tasting room/wine shop is very small. I could see this place very packed in a hot day ( was not our case) The girl was very friendly and knowledgeable. We only tasted the syrah and Their flagship The Chase . Glad that we stopped .

Our first Canadian winery and oh boy were they making some nice ones. We picked up one of their small lot Chardonnays, as well as a Syrah. Michael who served my husband and I was incredibly warm and welcoming. We learned a lot!
