schöner Blick über die Stadt Landstuhl. Parkplatz nicht direkt am Turm. Kurzer Fußweg muss zurückgelegt werden.

I went to Landstuhl Junior High in the early 1970s. Could get to the tower by walking out the school building and through a string or two of rusted barbed wire. (The cool kids smoked in the tower after school.)
Bismarck Tower was visible from the autobahn then, and one could also get to the trail via Luipoldstrasse up to the hospital entrance. (The road is still open, but it's no longer an entrance to the post. You can walk the trails without going on post.) Rode that hill on my bike countless times!
Took our kids back there in 2005 to show them bits of my Army brat life. I had pictures of the view from 1972 and was able to compare them to the mass complex that is now Landstuhl/Ramstein.

I've been here on a warm summer evening to see the city and the sunset. It is a beautiful place, and the view over the area is amazing. The hike towards it is very nice as well.

A nice walk on a gravel path with one steep area 70+ steps to get to the top of the tower for an expansive view of Landstuhl and the Ramstein air base.

Der designierte Parkplatz befindet sich mitten im Wald, das letzte Stück geht man zu Fuss. Der Turm hat keine Innenbeleuchtung. Die Aussicht ist umwerfend und daher einen Besuch wert. Kein Eintrittsgeld!

This tower has the best views of Landstuhl and Ramstein AB. It is a pretty strenuous hike through the woods (about 45 mins), but definitely worth it once you reach the top.

Wir waren von der Burg Nanstein aus bis zum Birmarckturm wandern. Der Bismarckturm ist auf dem Wanderweg eine sehr schöne Sehenswürdigkeit, von dem man eine herrliche Weitsicht über den Landstuhler Bruch hat. Von uns aus ist der Bismarckturm deshalb eine klare Weiterempfehlung für Radwanderfreunde in der Region wert!

I visited this Tower back in 1992, when I was stationed in the US Air Force at Ramstein AB. It's a very nice hike with lots of beautiful scenery. Highly recommended.....!!!

Part of the history, make sure the younger generations learns about these historic sites. Great place to visit when i Landstuhl, enjoy the peace around the tower and view of the Atzels.

I spent 8th and 9th grades about 200 yards from Bismarck Tower . It was a wonderful place to visit and explore after school and on weekends. Seeing it reminds me of a great period in my life on the hill at Landstuhl, Germany.
