Das Team war super. Das war es dann aber auch. Schnorcheln war nicht möglich, da in der gewählten Bucht das Wasser trüb war. Man musste hinter dem Boot im schmierigen Abwasser schwimmen. Außerdem wurden die ganze Zeit Fische angefüttert mit Essensresten, die einfach ins Meer geworden wurden. Während der Fahrt ständig Störung durch laute Durchgängen per Mirkofon. Man sollte Rum kaufen, Eis oder Cocktails kaufen und dann wurde jede Menge Werbung für den zusätzlich zu bezahlenden Wassersport gemacht. Am Ende gab es dann noch Fotos zu kaufen und Merchandise wie T-Shirts. Es gab zudem nur Pepsi, keine Coca Cola. Alles in allem leider überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen.

What an absolutely amazing experience !! Potter you made the trip
Extra special with your personal touch and your ability to speak most of your guests languages which was super impressive!! Thank you to you and the crew for a memorable experience and for sure we will be back soon again !! My family and I had so much fun and yes you had a winning family onboard, South Africa winning the Rugby World Cup and sharing a glass of champagne with our Irish companions onboard which was super cool!

Amazing day trip. Staff couldn't do enough from the start to the finish. Very relaxing. Water sports at a great price but definitely not pressured to do. Offered snorkeling and a speed boat ride as part of the price. I would highly recommend and will be repeating next year.

I paid €120 for one adult and child with the promise of a boat cruise, lunch and snorkelling through Jet2 .We were the first pick up at 8am from San Augustin. What we didnt realise was that it would take nearly TWO HOURS to get to Peuto Rico harbour. We literally went to every hotel and waited around for people who were late.The bus was full so was miffed that I missed the hotel breakfast for that. The boat is beautiful but was too full. Although we were first on the bus, you should have seen everyone clambering out and rushing to get onboard to get a good seat. Hardly relaxing lol. The seats were filled at front straight away and we asked to go upstairs and the lady said "not you" but shortly after let a few other couples upstairs. The man actually interrupted her and said "they are OK to go up". We then got the upsell of buying watersports.
We anchored in a bay that had a boring cliff face with lots of fish then waited for people to do their watersports had lunch then went home. We did go on speedboat which was good but the shouting was of off putting.
Food mediocre two slices of bread (not buttered) pasta potatoes and salad.
The boat is beautiful it's just a shame it was so busy

Thank you for taking the time to share your review with other travellers, Your feedback is important to us and we rely on hearing from our guests to ensure we continue to do a great job.
As you shared in your review, this was not the case for you, we apologies that your expectations were not met, but with so many 5* reviews and comments of other people we think we do a great job.
The people are sitting maximum 1 hour 20 minutes in our buses, so 2 hours is impossible .

The reviews are split on this one, we thought the day was amazing and would recommend it, BUT you need to make the most of what’s on offer.
First of all, well done Afrikat for listening to feedback and not taking deposits for cups, a small win, but that’s dealt with some previous reviews.
If you want a 4 hour trip on a catamaran then don’t take this cruise. But if you want a great experience and are prepared to pay another £30 euros a person on top of your trip, then what we got was, a 50 minute cruise to a little bay, a 10 minute speedboat ride (free) then we paid £30’each for parasailing which meant two more speedboats (for about an hour) back to the Cat for a light lunch, some snorkelling, then a slow cruise back with beer, music and our very own saxophonist (a crew member). What a great day, and yes we would do it all again. (Don’t expect a gourmet lunch and we didn’t feel over sold when it came to water sport options, sure it was a thing, but if you don’t do something you will be stuck on a moored boat, with little to do)
Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. (Which is unlike what we read on other reviews, so well done team)

Simply the best. Afrikat is the best boat trip there is, we have tried various others over the years and nothing compares to the Afrikat. All the crew are very experienced and welcoming but "Potter" does make it unforgettable. If you choose one boat trip choose this one, you won't regret it

Hello, depending on the time of year, we have different cruises with different prices so its best to check out all information from our website. We do not search for dolphins and again depending on the time of year (more so in winter) will only see them if we are lucky and they are close to shore.
Hi. We are staying at the Holiday Club Playa Amardores at the end of August. Do we book direct or do we book at the hotel reception. Is the harbour far from our Hotel. Thanks

Hello,you can book online for a 10% discount and arrange directly a collection. We have centralised pick up points and one is available from the bus stop on the beach in Amadores.

Hi. We went on the Afrikat - we booked it through Thomas Cook, but you can pay online prior if you visit their website.
We did the jetSki - it was €30 for 2 and we got 10 minutes. They’re €60 on the beach front. You also get a free speed boat ride included - along with snorkelling. Hope you enjoy!

No, we don't go out to search for dolphins. Sometimes we get very very lucky and see those wonderful creatures on our route, close to the shoreline.
There are boats that specifically do that.
