A good night, good show, but we booked with TUI who.called the castle to ask.about disabled access, told all.good. but 7 of us squeezed onto a 6 seated chair, my disabled mum.was made to.climb stairs even though they were informed she couldn't, also my son has severe nut allergy and they were informed but he was given the dessert with peanuts, so very badly organised

Super Show ! Can only recommend it was a great evening ! Performers spur viewers to very active show . We liked the trained horses best. And you can take pictures with the horses

A fun experience for all ages. Food ok. Was edible but basic chicken and potatoes. But you go for thr event I guess which was brilliant. The entertainers must work really hard to pull of the act and make it fun for the 2 hours.
Main concerns and why it lost a star. We were collected and taken to the event and just left waiting in a big empty hall with just a bar and merchandise to purchase for almost and hour and half before we actually got taken into the main room. Only seating was outside and not enough for the amount of people. This ruined the initial impression and we were bored to tears.
This was at least made better when we entered the hall and thr entertainment kicked of with sword fights, jousting and fire acts.
Worth a visit but be prepared to wait and the free drink is water, an orange pop and cheap wine. Beer is sold at a premium in a bucket when they walk round later.

Good fun evening. Food consists of veg soup and roll, chicken leg, tomato and potatoes and vienetta type ice cream. Children get chicken nuggets and chips. Drinks provided for free. All perfectly acceptable food.

If you are ready to travel back in time and experience a chivalrous epic, the dinner show at Castillo San Miguel is sure to be the night not to be missed!
Warmly welcomed by the King and Queen in person, we had the honor to visit their property as well as pose for the souvenir photo.
Then cool off while waiting quietly and patiently for access to the space where the show was going to take place. The room was almost full (more than 500 seats!). I think the organization is super well organized. Once everyone settles down, "must the show go on!" A quality of sound and light, actors who are 200% full of eyes! Stunts, stagings just WAOUH! And, a hot hot hot audience: it was crazy! The stars: horses, of course! The menu is well dosed - you could feel the taste that the chicken was well marinated, seasoned, YUM:-D! We didn't see the evening pass!

P.S. 1: with my daughters, we are sensitive to animal welfare and just hope that horses are treated well <3...
P.S. 2: review to asthmatics, plan your Ventoline!

Something different and was very entertaining, food was OK and lots of wine! Great value for money and worth a trip. Only down side is the travel time from Puerto de la cruz is about an hour and a half but that's no fault of the venue.

Very nice and entertaining evening!
The food was good and satisfying, the VIP. Tickets for the 1. Row especially for the children a great experience!
Only the communication was a bit weak (we were in the castle at 18:00 and were only allowed into the banquet hall at 19:15, here you could inform the guests a bit more even after the Royal welcome. Super actors who also fully encouraged us to participate - for the kids an unforgettable evening!

Hesitant to go after reading review but pleasantly surprised.
I’ll start with the bad points. You get held for too long to get drinks. The food is reasonable given the huge amount of people. If you vegetarian it’s a veggie lasagne that looks like a toasted cheese sandwich layered in cheese. There’s plenty to drink. We were fortunate enough to sit near a fan. These are spread out at regular spaces, however was a little concerned when they began spraying fine mist of water as if these pipes are not religiously disinfected to an extremely high standard then this is a risk for legionnaires disease. When I recognised water coming out I covered my drink with a napkin as was concerned about the risks of this happening. Luckily as I type this the following day nothing untoward has happened to me yet.
Anyway the show is very good and the skills of the horseman are incredible. I was a little concerned after reading one review about how stressed the horses looked and one even dies in the show (for real) so was slightly concerned. However it was clear the riders lived their horses so no concerns there.
I took my 16 year old son and his gf and they seemed to enjoy it. The audience participation is a must and everyone really got on board.
I would recommend this as a good place to take the family, however. I’d say drive yourself there and get there for about 7.15 as it starts about 7.45 by the time everyone is seated. Don’t get there at 6.30 as requested.

We were a family of six. Grandparents, parents and a 10 and 4 year old. We drove to the castle. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy the evening as much as I did (family choice to go). It is a brilliant evening- we all agreed.
We were a little uncertain of where to go to begin with. You enter the castle, are given either black or yellow tabards and then head to a bar area. The entrance to the arena is to the right of the souvenir shop and opens around 7:10pm.
Do not go expecting a gourmet meal !! It is a medieval meal- veg soup and roll for starter. Chicken leg, sliced potatoes and tomatoes for main and a slice of vienetta ice cream for dessert (children get chicken nuggets and chips for main). All served on metal dishes (but you do get cutlery). Drinks included are water, white and red wine and fizzy orange (again in a metal cup). Also expect to eat in low/dark lighting.
The entertainment is beyond brilliant. Expert horse riding, jousting, falconry, fire dancing and such fun audience participation. You are up and down out of your seat, screaming and booing the whole way through. The actors clearly love what they are doing.
Opportunities for photos with the actors after. Would thoroughly recommend this evening.

hello there! yes we do offer a residents price, upon showing your resident card you pay 30 euros per adult and this includes your meal and show. we look forward to seeing you guys and thankyou.

hello there and thankyou for your question. we have just changed our times for the show. show starts at 7.30pm and really food starts being served about 15 minutes in. now it all depends on where you are seated as to be able to say what time the meal is served. it almost feels like you are eating throughout the whole show put it that way because you can nibble away at the bread roll to begin with then along comes the soup pretty quickly. second course follows and then its dessert time. you wont be hungry we can promise that.

People wear anything that they feel like. There were some more fancy but a lot just in casual. We were bit worried if we needed extra warm clothes as it is late, but as the arena is indoors we had no need for those.

Noi siamo stati lì a marzo,e c'era scritto sul programma che lo spettacolo sarebbe iniziato alle ore 20:00invece alle 20:00 aperto le porte e lo spettacolo è iniziato alle 21:00. Quindi dovete andare dalle 20:00 in poi e non prima.
