Beautiful farm with some gorgeous animals! We had some lunch here and yes there was a wait for food but we were warned of this & it was quite busy, the food was delicious and definitely worth the wait! Lots of places to sit too - indoors & outdoors. Dog friendly! Had a lovely walk around the surrounding forest too whilst we were there and saw deers & donkeys roaming :)

Went for breakfast, all looked lovely, not too busy. Greeted well, ordered at 11.15am and told there was a 30 min wait on food, no problem we said.
45 mins passed and no order, others came and went!
We ordered further drinks and nothing was said to us.
Food arrived 55 mins after ordering, with no apology!
The breakfast was average, not the greatest but as we were so hungry was eaten.
Meanwhile others around had arrived, one table waited 30 mins for their food and an apology made, on the next table they waited 25 mins and got an apology and free drinks!
I guess we weren’t local enough to have the same courtesy, very disappointed in the service.
On a positive the lady in the farm shop was lovely and the animals were a pleasure to look at.

Absolutely delightful visit, lots of farm animals, Alpacas, pigs and array of animals. No entry fee! Great farm shop with amazing range of produce and cafe (reasonably priced and great staff) with lovely clean toilets. Great place to spend a couple of hours - live local so will be back often.

While down on holiday at Fordingbridge. We decided to have a look at this farm. We had a look around at the little farm. We enjoyed this. The farm shop was good. We decided to have a coffee. We ordered and told the woman we would sit outside. We went to sit but after a while it was too hot. So we went inside. Lovely and cool.
We will visit again.

Had a lovely visit to the farm and a fabulous afternoon tea with my sister and my 2 nephew puppies. The cafe was busy but all the staff were so friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and we thoroughly enjoyed out food. Looking forward to bringing the rest of the family this week

Lovely farm shop, cafe and bric a brac. Happy animals too which you are able to walk around. Particularly love the donkeys. Friendly staff and a beautiful setting.

Called in for breakfast. Friendly staff and great coffee
We were very disappointed with the breakfast. Lukewarm bacon and overcooked fried egg, small pot of baked beans lukewarm. Nothing appeared to be freshly cooked. So expensive for what we had.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry you were not happy with your breakfast, what a shame you did not say at the time so that we could have easily rectified the problem.
All our food is cooked to order and mostly locally sourced, we make the sausages here, slice our bacon which is from Wiltshire and our bread is Wimbourne.

We stopped here before going to our hotel, it’s very pleasant and a lovely place to stop for food and drink. The farm shop has some really lovely goods, staff was all lovely and friendly. Lovely little collection of animals

What an amazing experience again. Service was amazing quick and polite. Our cooked breakfast was a proper breakfast. The quality was 100% very meatty sausage. No corners trying to be cut to satisfy there customers. The price was very reasonable, the food is worth every penny. Money well spent. Even a great place for the kids to go to to see the budgies, alpacas, pigs and donkeys.Thank you again. Will be back again soon.

Having checked the website which says dog friendly, and also suggests that to protect the New Forest you don’t drive ( i.e. walk, use public transport or bikes), I did exactly that and set off on the 2 mile walk (with dog) to stock up with farm shop supplies and have lunch.
On arrival I ordered lunch (one of their breakfast baps). It’s a large portion, the sausage and bacon were good quality, egg was fried hard so no nice yolk to add to the sandwich and I know they talk about their baps being from a local bakery, but I was not impressed - they were supermarket quality. No water bowls for dogs near the cafe or the outdoor seating area (luckily I had brought my own).
After lunch I went to get my supplies from the farm shop only to discover dogs are not allowed in, not liking to leave my dog tied up outside in a courtyard where there are a lot of cars moving around, I then realised that my four mile round trip was wasted as being on my own I couldn’t access the farm shop. It would really help if their website were clearer on dog access.
On my return journey I went via the farm shop at The Potting Shed where they are kind enough to let dogs in.
So, in summary, food ok, dog facilities not ideal.. and if you are travelling alone, have a dog and want to go the farm shop - take your car or don’t take your dog!

The rolls are most definitely from a well known and respected family bakery near to us. We would happily have swapped the egg if only you had asked!
We have copious dog bowls around all the seating areas - I'm sorry you missed them.
The law does not permit dogs, unless they are assistance dogs, into food shops - so that I am afraid was beyond our conrol. All other areas within the farm and the cafe are very dog friendly.
