Great shop for crafts, went in for some embroidery floss and left with hoops, beads, fabrics and even more floss, great prices in both the shops and cafe. There is different buildings for different crafts, the cafe was large with plenty of options, big car park and beautiful scenery with a little nature walk area to the bottom right of the car park, overall a great day out.

The roast dinner was delicious, hot and plenty of it. The turkey was moist and tasty. Yorkshire pudding very yummy, would have been a 5 if there had been some stuffing. Great service, spotless. Will be going back tomorrow for my birthday to try the afternoon tea.

Brilliant afternoon tea, laid out beautifully. Staff were super friendly, huge portions and really delicious! We have zero complaints at all, highly recommend!

We visited for their Marquee ‘Warehouse’ Sale, which attracted a hundred or so people for the 9:30am opening. We waited 30 minutes to enter the marquee filled with fabrics, wool, buttons and more.
It was not a good as the ‘Events’ in previous years, leaving us a little disappointed. My wife was looking forward to buying packs of the same coloured wool, and buttons, instead the bags had mixed coloured balls of wool and they all contained one bright orange fluorescent ball of wool. Also they previously sold tubes of the same types of buttons, this time you filled a bag with dark and grey buttons for £1. She did purchase some bags of fabrics and other items which she was pleased with.
Their wools, fabrics and goods they sell from in their Mostyn shop is very good and was separate from the marquee sale.
There was also an Artisan market taking place which was quite good selling a variety of hand made goods, plants, wood crafts and more.
We had breakfast afterwards in the cafe and then a walk around the Gift Shop and other stores on site.
We will still visit their shops in Preston, Bolton and Liverpool to purchase goods but won’t be attending anymore similar events at Mostyn.

A really lovely place to visit. The different area's of craft are in their own separate buildings, which made it easier to navigate around, so we enjoyed a more pleasant experience. The staff in the wool/ yarn store were most helpful and really pleasant.
The gift store was full of gorgeous items, the staff in there was also a great help. My friend bought lots of goodies to take home, bespoke Gin, other tidbits to eat and the most beautiful handbag.
We finished the day off with homemade and delicious lunches in the cafe. The staff were absolutely fantastic in accommodating our requirements.
The food was so good, that we even stopped a little longer and had some delicious homemade cakes. But get there early as the gorgeous daily made Steak Pie sells out quickly!!
We travelled over from Manchester and it was totally worth the journey... It was a lovely experience all round and we can't wait to visit again soon.
Thanks to all the fantastic staff and Lisa, who I had some online correspondence with, you made it a breeze to visit.

Bitterly disappointed. Have always loved Abakhan until today. Looking for curtain material for enormous bay window; fully expected the Mostyn branch would produce the goods but curtaining area appears much reduced in size and therefore selection smaller. No staff approached us, despite waiting for quite some time. Craft department has been moved into what was the curtain department, also not good selection. I ended up feeling Abakhan in Mostyn has lost vision of the core business model.

Excellent service from Sue 011 in the wool shed. Sue was efficient, knowledgeable, and has a good sense of humour what more can you ask for in a retail operator. A thoroughly enjoyable retail experience. Highly recommended.

We have visited a few times since moving into the area. The cafe is quite good with a range of offerings although the coffee is not particularly good there. The fabrics don’t really interest us but we did buy some nice cushions and will use them for curtains. The plant pots are excellent value and there are some nice items in the gift shop.

I am not complaining about the range of stock. but it has lost it's magic. I think it is terrible they won't take cash. My money is as good as anyone else's. The lift wasn't in use either, so I couldn't go upstairs to look at the range of dressmaking products because there was no way I can use stairs, so I came away very disappointed. It is the first time I have gone there and not bought anything. Unless they change their policy, I will not be visiting again. They will have to change things because there is a shortage of these kind of stores. It's not fair

I went in for some fur material but when I unfolded a sheet of it, i found it had been patched with a completely different material!
It was nonuse for dressing walls, furniture, clothes, or anything! It was pay-per-kilo, so check what you're buying.

All departments are open and yes they sell material by weight and by the yard or metre.
The prices very such a lot as they have bargain material which is incredibly cheap...some £1.99!

Hi All, apologies for the delay - we somehow missed this question. Yes we are fully licenced and stock a variety of Alcohol including Lager, Cider, Ale, Wine and .... Prosecco :)
