Been there this morning with my sons. The horse assigned to me was Marie and she gave me a safe ride. I got over my nervousness after.

If you are looking for a place to ride horses, you should go to Boulderwood Stables near Windsor, NS. The owner looks after the horses with passion and great care. My kids are not regular horse riders, but ALWAYS enjoy the nice long trail ride. Owner is always friendly and humorous. I know they have indoor pool too.

This place is a great for people of all ages. Their horses are very well trained and behaved. The staff are great and very personable. They take very good care of their horses so i highly reccommend Boulderwood Stables:).

Bouderwood has an indoor pool and hot tub, and the owner has a great sense of humor. A must visit :)

My son really wanted to try horseback riding so we took him to Boulderwood. He had a great time and spent a lot of time on the horses. Great experience and price was great.

James the owner is phenomenal; the trail is beautiful, lots of up and down: pretty scenery + the horses are great.

Those horses get a lot of love and really are amazing have taken so many on fun rides many for twenty years so glad you had a good time and enjoyed them

I went today with my daughter step mom my daughter and her step sister. The girls are both 5 and had only ever been on the pony ride at the zoo. The staff was amazing and made us feel totally comfortable and the girls did awesome on their first real horse back ride. The horses were awesome and totally calm. Even in the rain we had a great time! With lots of laughs. Definitely recommend to anyone even if it's your first time ever. You won't regret it!

Good for kids and adults. Guide plus 9 of us went for the 1 hour trail ride. Maybe could be improved if a short orientation before starting out as some us us were very inexperienced.
All in all a good experience and reasonable prices.

Thank you for the review and pleased you had a good time . I did discuss with the girl who walked the ride to the road about your wanting some more instruction . The horses here are very well trained so with very little instruction people can have a relaxing and fun experience
