If you have young children who love feeding animals, then you should consider visiting. My kids absolutely love it and it’s the highlight of our trip. There were so many animals (ponies, pigs, alpacas, birds, turtles, giraffes, rabbits, etc) to feed and it wasn’t crowded at all so you can really feed freely without queuing or jostling with anyone. We even got to feed the lions. However the living conditions of the animal cages is pretty sad. It isn’t well maintained and I felt really bad for the animals. Especially the orang utan, the poor animal seems to have lost the will to live. Though it was a great experience feeding for my kids to bottle feed the baby lion cub, I wish this wasn’t available. The poor cub was locked in a tiny cage except when visitors pay for the cub feeding and it seems like the cub was desperately looking for more milk after the feeding session. A lot more can be done for the welfare of the animals and the entertainment of visitors shouldn’t be prioritise above the well-being of the animals. My kids would love to come back again but I’m not sure if I want to support a place like this.

Admission for 4 adults and a 2 year old was 600THB. Some fun exhibits, particularly the miniature ponies and pigs. The tiger and monkey cages are depressingly bad. In fact, most of the cages are small and dark. I feel a bit sorry for the critters forced to live there. But perhaps worth a walk around with kids.

ไปพักเขาใหญ่คะ เลยลองหาสถานที่พาลูกเที่ยว เจอว่ามีสวนสัตว์ของโบนันซ่า ลูกชอบมากคะ ตื่นตาตื่นใจ มีสัตว์หลายชนิด ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นสัตว์ ที่มาจากต่างประเทศ มีสัตว์ที่เราสามารถ ป้อนอาหาร กับมือได้เลย เช่นนก เอาอาหารไว้ที่มือ เค้าจะบิน มากินที่มือเรา เราสามารถ เข้าใกล้ สัตว์ได้เลย ลูกชอบ พ่อแม่ สนุกคะ

Zoo is run down and empty, but because its empty near closing time, we had a good time watching the lion cub run around the ticketing and souvenirs shop, then get sent back to his/her parents on a buggy. The lions were fed 2 whole chicken from the supermarket each. We went around feeding the little animals too. It's great to have nearly no other visitors around but you can see that the animals' living condition is merely passable.

Generell sind Zoos ein heikles Thema,aber dieses Tiergefängnis ist besonders traurig.Der Orang Uran verkriecht sich seit Langem unter seiner Decke und schaut so traurig drein!Auch die 2 letzten Löwen liegen als Bettvorleger rum.Kleine Kinder füttern gerne die Giraffen,ich würde bestimmt nicht wiederkommen!!

This is the private zoo of the billionaire owners of the Bonanza real estate empire.
Overall clean and organized, but many of the enclosures are now empty and the animals gone. Highlights include the white lions, giraffes, orang utans and meerkats.
You can get very close to the animals, including the lions which at some points near their enclosure you can almost reach out and touch them.
Lots of love birds, parrots, etc and a huge aviary.
Walking around, I get the feeling that keeping animals like this for human entertainment is outdated, especially by a private company.
Entrance fee 150 Baht, you get an option of either: (1) 2 boxes of carrots to feed the animals, or (2) 1 box of carrots plus 1 cup of birdseed. I made the mistake of going with option 2, the birds in the aviary were so full of birdseed that none were interested in mine.

You can feed the animals with carrots. Some animal such as giraffes have big open space. However, some animals are in very bad shape. The lonesome uran utan looks miserable in the cage. The tigers are kept in small cages. A pony is walking free around the zoo, however not well taken care of (e.g. long hoofs). Too many birds are kept in small cages and are all miserable. A hedgehog was kept in small space with no shade, which was not clean. the Overall, we do not recommend this place as the animals are treated poorly and this business should not be supported.

Small zoo but well kept and with enough animals to rival some small countries' national zoos. Worth a visit if you have small kids. You can buy buy food to hand feed the animals. I liked the aviary the most.

This is the only Zoo I have been which allows visitors to be as close as possible to the animals. I even got to touch the giraffes’ faces and feeding them. How often will you get to touch animals that tall! Despite the run down state of the Zoo, I must admit it is still worth visiting the Zoo.

It was pretty run down. The cages were too small even for the birds to fly. There was a meercat on its own running up and down nervously.
The only good experience was that we could feed some of the animals.

is it safe for kids and adults? would the graffies eat the baby?

Hi, yes it is safe but still be cautious, my 3 yr. old daughter fed the giraffe although i constantly remind her to be careful 😊 they have sticks so no need to worry about the giraffe accidentally biting the child’s finger. If traveling with an infant, suggest to bring mosquito spray to prevent any possible insect bites. Best time to visit around December - January as the weather in khao Yai drop a bit during this season.
