Merece la pena recorrer la costa a pie desde el aparcamiento, disfrutar las espectaculares formaciones y finalmente darse un baño en una de las piscinas naturales, antes de disfrutar de los bocatas desde una mesa, contemplando el mar.

for people to go swim in the ocean safely. Natural pools from lava rocks with a lifeguard, great fun to see families messing about enjoying the waters.

As piscinas e toda a costa adjacente merecem a visita. O banho de mar não tem avaliação porque não houve tempo mas ficou a vontade.

Recomendo estacionar o carro num dos extremos ecaminhar ao longo da costa. Quando vistei, apesar de ser junho, p céu estava nublado e o mar bem picado, deslumbrante o espetáculo. O por do sol é fantástico, recomendo!

Les plus chouettes de l'île pour nous, les seules ou nous avons bien voulu nous baigner par leurs profondeurs du style crique, c'etait très agréable, un peu frais mais une fois dedans, on a plus envie d'en sortir 😉

Prima giornata di vero sole e quindi di caldo. in riva al mare ci sono questi scogli neri molto porosi che sospetto essere di origine vulcanica. Diverse piscine naturali dove l'acqua entra ed esce con un buon ricambio. Piacevole pomeriggio con tante persone ma senza folle esagerate

La costa di mare attorno alla cittadina di Mosteiros a mio avviso è la piu bella sull'isola di Sao Miguel.
A parte la piccola spiaggia di Mosteiros Beach la costa è un susseguirsi di roccia lavica che crea piscine naturali, rocce emergenti che ricordano molto Aci Trezza in Sicilia.
Paesaggio molto suggestivo, bagni tra le rocce e luogo per amanti della fotografia.
Imperdibile!
A parte la piccola spiaggia di Mosteiros Beach la costa è un susseguirsi di roccia lavica che crea piscine naturali, rocce emergenti che ricordano molto Aci Trezza in Sicilia.
Paesaggio molto suggestivo, bagni tra le rocce e luogo per amanti della fotografia.
Imperdibile!

The 'pools' are actually enclosed sections of the rock formations on the tidal section of the beach, seawater washes in and out of them. In a strong sea swell you would not want to use them, but with a calm sea state they are fascinating to use. Go online and Google or Wikipedia the place for detailed info.
