We stayed at the Rubyvale Gem Gallery for two nights, and it had everything for a comfortable stay. Mitch and Eileen were great and provided great info and tips for the local area. The gemstone collection in the store are the finest in town, and we went home with a lovely pair of earrings. A fantastic place to visit and stay when visiting the gemfields.

Stayed overnight and had everything we needed plus more. Great location with the pub and grocery store just a stroll over the road.

We had a very informative and interesting visit to the Gallery. The family are welcoming and helpful. Unstinting with their time. It was the third gemstone store in Rubyvale we visited and definitely the best. I could see why it had won Major Tourism Awards. Deservedly. Most of the gems in the jewellery on display had come from the family’s own mine and been cut, polished and set by them. Very stylish and well priced. We bought a DVD and a Map, and they’ve been invaluable. The DVD, which shows the family’s mine, workings etc., has been watched by many, who now think they’ll schedule a Central Qld Trip to Rubyvale. The older Grandchildren asked Santa for Gemstone and fossicking kits and are keenly studying up.
We must thank the lovely Eileen for her kind and patient conversations with us. She sold Rubyvale so well and it is indeed a very beautiful, unusual and interesting town. Fantastic photography. Go there!

A large selection of beautiful stones for the high end of the budget. The staff is friendly and helpful. Worth a look.

The modern building, housing the Gem Gallery, is the perfect place to learn about sapphires from mining the stones to the finished item. Beautiful glass display cases house sapphires fashioned into items of varying colours, shapes and prices. This family owned business offers an honest, professional service on any purchase, providing a written description, photo, and advice on care of the purchase as well as after sales service. Shop here with confidence!

My sister and her husband took me to Rubyvale. In the past she had bought a sapphire ring from The Rubyvale Gem Gallery. It is housed in a beautiful building and I was quite taken with the sapphire jewellery. You think sapphires are blue? Visit this place to learn about sapphires, the owner, Peter, is passionate about sapphires and took time to explain the various sapphires, fascinating.He owns a sapphire mine, and his son Tyler helps him with that part of the business. His son Mitch assists him in the Gem Gallery, very easy to talk to, knowledgeable, just as passionate as his dad, and no rushing the customer. All very much professionals in their field. (My sister bought another sapphire/diamond ring!) You can watch a short video about the history of the mine and the Gem Gallery.

I met Peter, Eileen and Mitch when I was in Gemfields, researching the gem trade for the Gemstone Detective Tourist Guide. This lovely family do all the mining, cutting and jewellery making themselves. Their parti sapphires are of exceptional quality - such rare gemstones - not your average budget souvenir to take home. Of course, I have recommended them in the tourist guide because their gallery is a must visit in Rubyvale, Gemfields. There is a good cafe next door.

Rubyvale gem gallery has an amazing collection of top knotch gems as wwll as having an in house faceter they also have an incredible selection of finished jewelery. Peter Brown and his lovely wife will be happy to assist you.

Stayed in Rubyvale Gem Gallery accommodation for 3 nights with husband and young child and we all found it very comfortable and welcoming. The pub food was good across the road and we had lovely scones, burgers and coffee in the gallery cafe next door. The Rybyvale Gem Gallery itself was amazing on so many fronts. The sapphires were to die for, high quality and beautifully set. We bought two awesome sapphires!! We know city prices and the gallery is very well priced. The owners are welcoming, helpful, honest and highly experienced in everything sapphire related. They are happy to work within your budget and custom make items for you. Basically I wish I had discovered this store and it's owners alot earlier in life. Nicole and family 🤩😀

Love the jewellery it is all hand crafted. Everything from cutting the stones to designing and making the jewellery is done on site. Very pleasant shop to explore.
