Flat open spaces with hook ups and scattered trees make for pleasant camping.bathrooms and facilities are well tended and campers were quiet.

Kinda off the beaten path park, but friendly staff, sites with water view are only 2 services, and ours was meant for mountain goats, thanks to the staff member who brought me some extra wood to be able to level it up, awesome view of the bay.
The bathroom and laundry and showers were clean, they do need to fix the road ways, too many bumps and large holes. If ever out this wat give them a try, cheers

The park has two playground areas, great for young children. The nearby beach is quite beautiful but no swimming this summer.

Cabot Beach is closed for swimming in 2020. They dredged a channel for fishing boats close to the beach, making it unsafe to go in the water beyond a few feet. Would've been nice to have seen something about this on TripAdvisor before driving out to Malpeque. I'm sure there are still loads of fun activities in the Malpeque area, but swimming at Cabot Beach isn't one of them. It's too bad - this was one of my family's favourite beaches. Hope this isn't permanent.

Lots of space, nice beach, fresh seafood nearby at The Oyster Barn and Basin View Seafood. Some washrooms are a bit dated but functional. We saw ospreys and eagles soaring right past the campsite. We were there just after tropical storm Dorian caused a lot of damage. Deb and her crew were working like beavers and doing a fantastic job cleaning it up. We definitely want to go back!

It is nice short Alkhasov, love the red colour of the sand. Unfortunately water was too cold for swimming.

The hurricane did some damage to the park. Many trees are down. There is no power or water. The beach is beautiful but it is a long walk if you are carrying anything. The road is closed that gets you near the beach. The campground is closed however you can camp but there are no services.
I would think the park will be open soon. The marina just outside of the park had power last night.
P.S. The mosquitos were bad!!!

Beautiful beach for strolling, swimming, sunbathing. Great picnic spots, plenty of parking. Love the red sand and the beach cliffs.

Hi Lori L,
My family and I are planning a trip to PEI Aug 2016. How was your campsite? Can you or anyone else recommend a site? Thanks for your time.

Great place to camp. Sites are pretty good size, but depending upon how much time you spend and what amenities you need. Camp by the water edge if you can. Great sunset!

I used to go to Cabot Park every summer with my family from the time my son was 2 years old. He is now 48 and I haven't been back since 1974. My husband built a cottage in Cape John, NS and he was killed in a car accident in 1975. I am too old for camping now and gave away all my camping gear. My question is: Are there any cabins available and what would the cost be for two adults and two children for one week?

Greetings , just reserved site 42 for 3 nights this August 2015
Wondering which sites are better than others? We'd love a view of water but also a tree or to, and some privacy, asking a lot I know :)
can anyone recommend one site over another? (and restaurants, site seeing nearby?
We are a family of 4 tenting only, (and going out to eat, won't be cooking much more than coffee:)
