‪Apparently a reservation is needed and you need to be there before 2 pm to start biking, which is nowhere mentioned on the website…

We arrived at 2.30 pm and it was closed. The workers who were performing maintenance said that it would open again at 3 or maybe 3h30 pm. We waited and waited, asked a couple of times and every time they said they would open soon. At 4h20 pm the owner arrived and explained us that we could only rent bikes between 10 and 2, because between 2 and 4 she is out to provide technical assistance for the bikes. Returning the bikes is possible between 4 and 6, but apparently the wineries close around 4 or 5. When we said we were waiting for 2 hours, she was not kind at all but referred us to the website and said that a reservation was necessary. How could we know, since this was nowhere mentioned on the website? And there was also no sign anywhere at the venue. We thought it would be fine to bike between 2.30 pm and approx 6 pm, because our organized tour the day before followed the same times. Now our entire afternoon was ruined.‬

‪Best day of our honeymoon!‬

‪This was our favorite experience of our entire Argentinian trip! The bikes worked great, and Lujan de Cuyo is an excellent area for safe and easy biking. Baccus mapped out our route for us and made a lunch reservation at the most wonderful spot so we were all set to go once we hit the road. There are more than enough vineyards in the area to get an excellent feel for Mendoza wine country. 10 out of 10 recommend!‬

‪We rented two bikes via our hotel (they came with helmets and a chain/lock) and had an excellent experience.

We originally planned to book the bikes for one day doing a self-guided tour but had such fun that on the afternoon of our first day we asked to extend the rental for another day (organised via the hotel) which Baccus were happy to accommodate despite the short notice.

On the first day of rental we realised while cycling between two wineries that we had a puncture in one of the tyres. With a full day of wineries to visit we were worried that this would ruin our plans but after mentioning the problem to the guard at our next winery (Alta Vista Winery) the guard got in touch with Baccus and they came out and changed the tyre while we were having our wine tasting. This meant we had zero delays and could continue on with our tour as planned. We were so happy and impressed with the service!

We would definitely recommend using Baccus if you are looking to hire a bike in the area.‬

‪Great bike rental for Lujan de Cuyo wine tours‬

‪This is a great place to rent bikes to explore the wineries in Lujan de Cuyo. They were very responsive and honored our reservation. I chose to plan our own route and now recommend working with Baccus to do so as they know how the timing works. Definitely be sure make reservations as many wineries will not let you on the grounds without one!‬

‪Súper recomendable! Las bicis están re bien y el servicio también. Nos dieron un recorrido y nos contactaron con algunas bodegas para ir a visitar ya que no teníamos reservas. Súper linda la experiencia, lo recomiendo!‬

‪Un placer toda la experiencia!‬

‪Ines es una grosa, nos regalo un mapa con todas las bicisendas marcadas, se nos pinchó la goma de una bici, la llamamos y a los 10 minutos llegó donde estábamos con una bici para que terminemos el recorrido y nos esperó en el local hasta que llegamos! Hermosa experiencia, increíbles paisajes y la simpatía y amabilidad de Inés lo terminó de coronar! ‬
