Visited on Sun 19 Mar 2023 with my hubby. Reached about 730pm, not too crowded, mostly locals. We are staying at Hotel.Nagashima and the entrance fee to this place is free for hotel guest. Love this place. Also paid ¥600 per adult to ride the “flying saucer” up to see the place from the air. Honestly, can skip ride unless u want to see the whole place from the top. The light illuminations is amazing. Plus it’s Sakura viewing period. Definitely must visit if you are in Nagoya.

国内最大級のウインターイルミネーションを楽しみに行きました。
１７時の点灯を待ち、イルミネーション会場へ。
光のトンネルは見事です。
期待値が上がりました。
が、メイン会場の「天空の船」にはガッカリ…
なぜダルマ？ なぜ七福神？
作者のセンスと合いませんでした。
入場料に里内の１０００円分チケットが含まれるのもがっかりです。
欲しくもないお土産を買わされました。

On a first glance, this place resembles Nagasaki's Huis Ten Bosch, the Dutch Village and Garden Park but is of a much smaller scale and size with limited attractions.
This park is much prettier at dark hours than daylight due to the special lightings and laser show. On our visit there, it was Sunday and the sky was darkened by 5pm (we arrived there at around 4pm and weather was cool, first with some sunshine and later began drizzling).
We saw some flowers, mostly tulips and other flowers but surprisingly no others like roses, sunflowers, orchids which Huis Ten Bosch had (we also visited there in December). However, we were lucky to see the last batch of red Autumn leaves and that was lovely.
There was a sky observatory and museum but visitors will need to buy extra tickets to get in.
The winter illumination started at 5pm and there was already a long queue at around 4.30pm. But it was orderly and no one rushed or pushed around at the start at 5pm. The lightings were awesome and colour of lights changed with the change of music. Awesome.
After walking through it, out in the open park, visitors gathered for the special laser show. That was amazing, about Japan and the pirate story. Even though it was cold, many still gathered around to watch it.
Admission fee was 2500 yen for adult (with 1000 yen voucher which you can use to shop for souvenirs or for drinks or finger food at the shops) and considered a little on the high end due to the lack of interesting attractions. You only need about 30-40mins to walk the entire park (of course excluding visiting the attractions).
Unless you are a flower (or tulip) lover, this place had nothing much to entice you to come all the way as it is not that convenient as the nearest metro station is about 40mins walk, unlike Huis Ten Bosch, there's a train station located at its entrance.

The place was absolutely crowded when we went, and the lights were nice but did not really wow us. The main illumination was a short light show of about 2-3 minutes that ran on a loop. Apart from that, there were other attractions that were chargeable (not included in the 2500 yen ticket).
I wouldn't recommend making a trip out here unless it's on the way.

Entrance fees were expensive ¥2,500 per pax. Each pax will have ¥1,000 credit to spend at cafe/souvenir shops. Sadly, the Island Fuji Observatory cannot be redeemed. The 200m LED illumination was stunning. This is only available after 3rd week of October. Laser show was great too.

毎年、数回は訪問する場所です。何度、訪問しても新しい楽しみと素晴らしい体験をさせてくれる施設です。今回も主として、イルミネーション主体の入園です。期待に違わず現実離れした素晴らしい光景を見せられました。今年は「雲海」がテーマだとか・・・電球でここまで表現出来るのはもう「芸術」の域に達っしていますね。値段の高いのは忘れさせる素晴らしさでした。それにしてもこの程度(規模)の施設なのに口コミページが食堂以外にも色々と採用しているのは、何か意味でもあるのかな？「なばなの里」一つで十分じゃないか？と思う。中にはわざわざ口コミページを取っている「足湯」「ベゴニアガーデン」「花市場」「アイランド冨士」「里の湯」等があるが・・・なばなの里に一纏めにすべきですね。食堂は色々とあって中々、一つには纏められないかもしれないが・・・バラバラにしなければ口コミ出来ないのかな？

入場料2300円と少し高めな印象ですが、中で使える千円の金券がついているので実質的には1300円の入場料という計算になります。か…中の飲食店は基本、観光地価格でどのお店も高めかな。前回は花が一杯でチューリップが凄く綺麗でした。カメラマンがたくさんいて、カメラ好きにはたまんないスポットなんだなって感じ。夜はイルミネーションが凄く綺麗なので、一日かけて楽しめるスポットだと思います。冬季のイルミネーションは必見ですよ☆

コロナ禍でなかなか行けませんが、桑名面に用事があったので帰りに寄ってきました。今シーズンはバスツアーの観光客が少ないので比較的ゆっくり見て回れました。昼間は花広場でダリアの花壇を楽しんで暗くなるまでストーブの近くで休憩してからイルミネーションを楽しめました。メインのテーマ雲海がとても綺麗で何枚も写真をたくさん撮りました。水上イルミネーションの光の大河は少し綺麗になった感じがしました。河津桜の咲く時期のまた行こうと思っています。

四季折々の壮大な花まつりが開催される「なばなの里」そして、期間限定で実施され、年々スケールアップされる国内最大級のイルミネーション。
今年のメイン会場のテーマは「雲海」。世界最高峰のプログラミング技術と最新のLED装置により、大自然の光景をダイナミック且つ、繊細な表現は、お見事のひと言につきる素晴らしい演出でした。
特筆すべきは、なばなの里ではHPのお知らせに記されているように、プロジェクションマッピングは一切使用していないことです。
ちなみに、メイン会場だけでなく、「水上イルミネーション」や「光のトンネル」など、里内は様々なイルミネーションで彩られ、華やかな光の演出が楽しめますよ。

イルミネーションを見に行きました。想像以上にイルミネーションが綺麗で圧巻されました。光の道や雲海など有名スポットは圧巻だと思います

Hi, I'd like to know if the attraction has a deadline, and if there is an entry fee ^ ^ and if it's preferable to take a bullet train there if I live in Nara and Osaka 'w'. Signed total newbie at planning stuff ;w; (any advice appreciated)

deadline is april or may not sure
entry is almost 3000yenes but you can use the tiket for food or you can go and see the Gardenia place wich is amazing
