‪Pessima accoglienza da parte delle guide che ci illustravano il percorso presentandosi in maniera maleducata, presuntuosa e arrogante.
Sconsiglio vivamente la visita se si tratta di adolescenti, scolareschi e bambini.‬

‪la maleducazione delle guide nei confronti di alunni e professori è stata inammissibile.
parlare male in modo assurdo nei confronti dei professori stessi ed insinuare che non siano dei bravi professori non deve esistere.
se non si ha voglia di lavorare con gli adolescenti, cambiate mestiere.
sconsiglio la visita se si hanno bambini e adolescenti che conversano tra di loro.
si deve essere mummie?‬

‪Sulla bellezza delle grotte di castellana non si può aggiungere altro che già non sia stato detto, e che tutti abbiamo avuto modo di apprezzare. Tuttavia penso che "sentire" le grotte sia una esperienza che pochi hanno vissuto, "sentire" il suo silenzio, "sentire" l'emozione del suo buio assoluto, sentire il dolce gocciolio che segna il ritmo della sua vita (lo stillicidio)... è un'esperienza mistica . La SPELEONIGHT è stata per noi tutto questo, gente appassionata che sa appassionare. Amatevi e fatevi questo regalo. Buon "ascolto"‬

‪Siamo stati alle grotte circa 1 settimana fa con la mia famiglia, che dire, un'esperienza FANTASTICA, un pezzo di natura da vedere almeno una volta nella vita!! La grotta BIANCA uno spettacolo naturale UNICO AL MONDO!! IMPERDIBILE!!‬

‪Un luogo veramente suggestivo
Storia e vista mozzafiato, unico al mondo.
gentilissima e preparatissima la guida sig.ra Antonietta assolutamente ineccepibile che con pazienza e calma ci ha spiegato tutto.
L'unica nota negativa però va proprio alla gente che visita le grotte, nonostante la guida ci avesse detto più volte di non toccare le rocce per non contaminarle e di non fotografare (se non nella prima cava) i visitatori fanno l'esatto opposto per tutto il tempo e non ne capisco il motivo, sarebbero utili più controlli ma soprattutto più sanzioni, stiamo parlando di un bene naturale che va curato e preservato.‬

‪Le grotte di Castellana sono uno spettaclo che la natura ha creato in migliaia di anni , abbiamo avuto il privilegio di ammirare le bellezze naturali della grotta da soli e senza altri visitatori, a dicembre 2022, con la guida esclusiva del Sig. Tonino , persona straordinaria ed empatica , un aiuto capace di trasmettere aspetti , particolari ed emozioni di questo antico "manufatto" della natura ! Grazie Sig. Tonino‬

‪The caves offer 2 routes, the short: 1 km and the long: 3 km. Only the long one reaches the Grotta Bianca, the jewel of the crown. My husband and I bought our tickets online, but on low season, everyone else got theirs in the ticket booth.

In January there were only tours in Italian. According with the information, the cave has a steady temperature of 17o C, but it felt much warmer and so humid, we ended completely sweaty.I wished they rented lockers to place your jacket, backpack, umbrella or bags, so you could hold the handrails with both hands.

Even though they sell the trail as friendly, it’s very, very slippery. They do recommend good grip shoes, but snickers are not enough. Wearing those, my husband slipped to the ground right on top of the anti slippery mat. The guide was so far she didn´t even noticed and it was the other travelers who helpped him stand up. So you’ll better bring hiking shoes. It’s nice to return to the surface by elevator.

Pictures are not allowed inside the cave, not sure why...

In general the caves are very nice, but fran from being the best in Europe (I´d reserve that title to Postojna caves, in Slovenia)‬

‪Beautiful cave system, poor organization ‬

‪The cave itself deserves 5 stars but the organization of this place is not the best. They opened the register to buy tickets only 15 min before the tour resulting in the tour being late. The groups are huge and you can't really enjoy the place as you should beacuse of the big groups especially at the end where the most beautiful part is. You literally get 60 seconds to view Grotta Bianca and then you have to move along because the groups are so big. Can't even imagine what it's like during the peak season. There's a shorther (1km) and a longer tour (3km). We chose the longer one and we're glad we did because the further in you go the more beautiful it gets. The most beautiful part is at the very end of the tour called Grotta Bianca or the White cave. Photo's are only allowed in the first room.‬
