‪Title says it all. We drove almost 1.5 hrs from Dorado to explore SE coast hidden treasures but found tons of sargassum (Punta tuna lighthouse playa manaubo also).

You can put Punta Yeguas or Ines Maria Mendoza Reserve in maps to get there. Both will take you to dirt road that looks like nothing and you will think you are lost. Go with it. We did the latter and went straight, past some houses then to some big gates. I think if you take the dirt road that maps tells you for Punta Yeguas, it dead ends at this dirt road and you make a right. Anyway, might have been second gate (can't remember, look at my pic to make sure you have right one) that we parked just pass (that was fun), walked around the gate, and walked straight towards ocean on wide grassy stretch that quickly turned into dirt one-vehicle lane, then path. I think we got to a sign at the btm where we saw a path down to the left towards the water. it's short but steep, rutted, stones/roots but not hard unless you are mobility limited. 10-15 min hot sunny hike from gate. BRING BACKPACK WITH WATER.

See my picture captions for more info. 20 yr old son and I explored the boulders/rocks around the right corner of crescent to find another beach, and some more boulders. On the hike back up to car, passed a side trail on the right in the brush. followed it for a couple min and got to a point where i could see another beach below without sargassum! but the trail got a bit overgrown at that point and i had on shorts so legs would have gotten scratched up (need long pants or pruning shears!). maybe some other trails lead to it? didn't have time to explore, family wanted to try elsewhere.‬

‪This place has a medium level access in my opinion. You need to get to Inés Maria Mendoza natural reserve walk like probably 15min and then you get to a steep trail (but it's actually easier than it looks) and then you arrive to your destination. A beautiful beach with minimum people and just amazing. It's really well kept. I usually go very early in the morning and by noon I'm on my way to grab lunch. Keep in mind that the road to get to the reserve it's pretty bad (just drive slow and you'll be okay) and there's not much space to park. You really need to take it all in in person. Remember to take your trash with you.‬

‪I spent the perfect day here exploring the gorgeous beach, swimming and relaxing under the trees. The scenery is gorgeous! I hope this area stays protected from development and continues to be kept clean. ‬
