Containment was my first escape room ever and it was so much fun, the hour we had flew by. 4 of us did the lab and 3 the sub for our Xmas team event. Luckily we had someone with our group who did escape rooms before so he coached us through it, though I think the Lab was even a tough one in his experience. It was great fun but being my first one I think the Lab was a good challenge. We didn’t escape but the other group did. We were just minutes away from completing the final puzzle. Gutted! We came away wanting to do it again straight away. The staff there were amazing, really welcoming and funny. They added some great humour to the experience. Would recommend going here and I definitely want to give it another try

Mediocre-at-best escape room ruined by snarky operator who likes the sound of their voice too much

Badly designed escape room and a snarky, up-himself operator made for a terrible experience.
There were puzzles that were just tedious and slow. There were puzzles where the answer wasn't sufficient, it needed to be interpreted by the operator to be useful. There were puzzles where you had the right answer but it didn't work because you selected the wrong blue, when blue was the whole answer. Some doors didn't open well even after the correct code was put in. Just badly designed.
And the operator felt the need to comment the whole way through. That's either badly designed or a bad operator. Telling us where to look 1 minute after we know what to look for, telling us we don't need something 2 puzzles before it's actually useful, telling us to do something we're literally in the process of doing. It culminated in a tedious puzzle waiting for numbers on a screen to be in the right ranges, where he decided it was appropriate to make snarky comments about how we were doing, then effectively telling a team member to shut up while he's talking ("You'd have heard the answer if X didn't swear" and we hadn't even asked for an answer).
All in all, a terrible experience. I can get past a mediocre escape room. I can't get past an operator who decides they're a more important to the team than one of the people in the escape room, and tells them that. Just awful.

Absolutely brilliant. Great welcome, organised well and fab time as a team. Laughed a lot and even managed to escape. Highly recommend.

We played the Sub. Amazing escape room, really cleverly designed. Fantastic host - couldn't have been more helpful and made it so much fun.

I had an amazing time at Containment escape rooms. It's my third time and I can't recommend it enough! It's perfect for groups of friends or families. The challenges are difficult but the clues are tailored to your level. I'm looking forward to going back!

We had 2 rooms and 11 players ranging from 11-50 .
We all had a great time… we escaped one room but sunk the submarine.
The staff were lovely and would throughly recommend..

Family had great fun! (9yrs +) And we escaped! All 4 of us got stuck in, puzzles for all to have a go at. We loved the attention to detail and one of our favourites so far.

No bar I am afraid, however just a very short walk from Worplesdon Place pub/hotel. Good food and great atmosphere
